Insider trading is illegal. Arrest hegseth

Lynn Matsuoka's avatar

DO IT NOW!!! For that and a list of other things you know he’s guilty of.

Unhinged's avatar

I don’t know why we can’t arrest him and others. They do not have immunity

Unhinged's avatar

They’ve made millions

DEBRA's avatar

arrest them ALL

Bluefin's avatar

Corruption at its finest.

Bluefin's avatar

I know. Why isn't this being talked about?? I heard about this insider trading on war predictions (can't remember where I heard this, maybe on Deadline Whitehouse with Nicole Wallace?) a couple of days ago. Hegseth was involved.

Unhinged's avatar

Get our troops home. Surrender

You’re so afraid of looking weak, you risk our troops

Not until baron puts on a uniform

Irene Finn's avatar

He made a bad decision and can't live with the consequences. He's already spit in the eyes of all of our Allies, so you reap what you sow. War is not to be taken lightly, which is what he did. Now he has no plan and no exit strategy. Who's going to figure this out, Hegseth? That's a joke.

jan carter's avatar

Hegeseth, you go put your own boots on the ground.

Suel J's avatar

And leave the freaking Bible study at home Hegseth. Where it belongs. Actually, leave yourself at home too. You are just an embarrassment at this point.

And hey, I'd like to be a fly on the wall when and if trump wakes from his semi coma and his reptile brain realizes that the shiny people have been lying to him.

Robot Bender's avatar

Someone needs to tell Whiskey Pete to don a parachute and be the first one off of the first plane dropping paratroopers into Iran.

Lee Lenard's avatar

Pete needs to go help Bondi carry all those Epstein files up to the congressional committees. Be useful

Edward mead's avatar

And take Barron and Eric with you

Trixie Becker's avatar

Absolutely right, Jan!

Lynn Matsuoka's avatar

Right, before Hegseth, Barron and the orange menace himself strap their money to their bayonettes and stand in the front lines, nobody should be going there!

Jemtl65's avatar

And Hegseth is concerned about information of the war!!! He spreads the top secret info!!!

Irene Finn's avatar

Can you imagine if the wealthy, politicians, and appointees and their kids had to actually do the real work? To actually risk their lives? There'd be a lot more thought, a lot more validation when this country goes to war.

Kathleen Dintaman's avatar

Trump's strategies are right in line with his mob boss mentality.

Laura Herzog's avatar

Why would our former allies subject themselves to Iran's retaliation?

ppp's avatar

France is within range US big talk because they are out of the range of Iran.

jeff Miller's avatar

They don't want to get involved because it's an illegal war dumbass

Es's avatar

I want to subscribe but I need to know the total price?

Laurie Ryan's avatar

I think it’s $100 per year but be careful. I subscribed and received no extra benefits for becoming a paid subscriber. Couldn’t access Ron Filipkowski’s full daily bulletins, etc. Customer Service was practically non existent and unable to fix my issues so I had to call my credit company to get a refund which I did receive because Meidas would not respond to my bank’s request for information. I would love to support this network monetarily but am unable to without adequate, reliable customer support.

Ann's avatar

You can probably find out by clicking subscribe. If you don’t like just don’t put in your cc info.

Abandoned Afghan Ally's avatar

It is painful to watch the 'unraveling' of decades of American diplomacy in real time. As someone who stood by the U.S. mission and trusted the weight of the American Word, seeing allies like France and the UK being publicly insulted is a dark mirror of what we, the loyal partners, have already experienced. When a government replaces a coherent strategy with 'meltdowns' and 'juvenile anecdotes, it doesn't just lose its allies it loses its moral standing in the world. Real leadership is about keeping promises and respecting those who bleed for the cause, not treating global security like a reality show. A very sobering update

Marliss Desens's avatar

Trump says we will remember what these countries did. Yes, I will remember that they did not enable his war, and I thank them for not doing so.

Robot Bender's avatar

I'll remember all the times our allies stood with us.

E. Garza's avatar

Trump will be gone soon! America will be thankful to those countries that refused to support this carnage.

Megan Ross's avatar

It is heartbreaking in so many ways. It will take decades to fix the mess that TRump has created, both at home and abroad. 😞

Anna Bifano's avatar

Perfectly stated. It’s hard to believe this tyrant is still in charge. I hope these countries know most of us don’t stand behind him.

As for old Petey, maybe graduate courses in "Military," instead of Military 101? And now, all of your misstatements are tactical? To *fool* the "enemy"? A whole lot of bullsh*t . . .

"A heart the size of Texas"? . . . "More bombs, Sir?" Jeez . . . I have a bridge, sonny.

Why Can't Congress have the United States Marshall service arrest Trump. and Trump's caninet

Ronald McCallum's avatar

Edward,

"Why Can't Congress have the United States Marshall service arrest Trump. and Trump's caninet" [sic]

SIMPLY speaking, the United States Marshal Service is a branch of the United States Department of Justice, therefore, a part of the Executive Branch of the United States government:

"The Office of the United States Marshals was created on September 24, 1789, with the passage of the Judiciary Act by Congress. The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) was established in 1969 to provide guidance and assistance to U.S. Marshals throughout the nation. The U.S. Marshals Service is a bureau within the Department of Justice and receives direction from the Attorney General through the Director of the United States Marshals Service."

Linda Harris's avatar

Is trump using this as a ply to pull out of NATO?

Marliss Desens's avatar

I don't think he can pull the U.S. out of NATO without Congressional consent, and I think this would be a bridge too far, even for this Republican controlled House and Senate.

Angel Lee's avatar

He doesn't care about Congressional consent. I think he's more that proves that.

BellaB63's avatar

Regardless, in this instance he cannot pull us out.

Marliss Desens's avatar

He would care if the Republicans had spines.

When was the last time you heard about a sovereign nation that was attacked - did nothing? When was the last time you heard about a sovereign nation that was attacked - that warned the "civilians" of where and when they would attack?

When was the last time a nation used its people as human shields and world ignored that fact due to their inbred, inherited hatred for one particular nation?

Hegseth is a war criminal

Ann Neises's avatar

Kegsbreath is completely unfit and incompetent to be the Secretary of Defense. He clearly has no clue what to do in a war situation. He likes to talk and look tough on camera but his whining about the press trying to make him look ugly and sound stupid is telling. All he cares about is looking good on camera. Must be a holdover from his Fox News days. Face it Petey, the cameras don't lie, but you do!!!

his track record shows that he's filed bankruptcy seven times and now he's bankrupt America and put us in the war that none of us want so he could fatten his own bank account. Trump made $17 billion dollars on crypto alone. worst president ever!

The Peaceful Solution-Plan B's avatar

Please ignore Indivisible’s timid proposal, and instead, engage in a General Spending Strike.

The following is from an email by Indivisible:

“Gearing up for a national day of economic disruption on May Day. We always say mass mobilizations are just one tactic. Economic disruption is another tactic. And it’s most successful when you’ve done the work to build a large, broad-based coalition of folks ready for higher-level actions. So now, the ground is laid for May Day Strong’s national day of “No school, no work, no shopping” to put the oligarchs enabling Trump’s power grabs on notice.”

From Peaceful Solution:

This proposal is 14 months late and far too timid. They should have been proposing economic disruption simultaneously with the street protests. Remember, Indivisible is an offshoot of the Democratic Party, so the timidity should not be surprising. Their proposed one day economic disruption will have absolutely no effect, except to disappoint those participating and give a good laugh to the fascists and billionaires.

We are in the middle of a five alarm fire, and while most of the country remains oblivious, too many in the resistance are wasting time discussing how to organize and implement a fire department. What’s needed from the general public is total non cooperation and a General Spending Strike( Spending Strike, economic disengagement, economic disruption, general boycott, whichever you prefer). NOW!

We, the People, can’t easily or safely withhold our tax dollars that are allowing this corrupt government to function. Our tax dollars fund the fascist takeover.

But as consumers we can indirectly withhold our tax dollars. Consumer spending is about 70% of the economy. That spending ends up as tax dollars.

How much do you want to stop His Royal Heinous and the fascist takeover of the country?

Enough that you’re willing to make a small sacrifice? Like altering your spending habits for a month or two or three? That could be all it would take to get the attention of the oligarchs (formerly known as The Robber Barons in the first Gilded Age, also The Fat Cats, The Greedy Bastards).

A brief demonstration of We, the People’s, power of the purse could persuade them to quit supporting HRH and the politicians who enable him.

This small, painless sacrifice will not be permanent. It only needs to last long enough so that the billionaires realize that We, the People, still wield the power.

Leslie McCollom's avatar

I agree. We cannot wait for more than a month or two at the most to engage in real action action that will affect all Americans, spending boycott snd work/ school boycott, during weeks, not just weekends. In short, a general strike. Hard to organize but I feel sure it could be done if indivisible, save American movement, and other pro democracy groups, will coordinate. It is going to take something like this to get any real attention from the oligarch and Epstein classes.

patricia montague's avatar

COORDINATION is needed NOW.

Luis Varela's avatar

The fascist overlords will only understand the money angle. No work, no spend, no travel , no anything. And yes the dems are cowardly because their owners own both sides.

Murdered thousands of civilians, including children at school! the devastation of human habitat and a Plume of radioactive nuclear material that will be around an estimated 200,000 years.

Add for our generals and admirals that are carrying this illegal war out, they knew what they were doing
