Hello, Sylvia, I get it, I do. My dad was a 20 yr Army veteran. Active duty WWII and the Korean Conflict, awarded the Bronze and Silver Star. He chose Army recruiting for his peacetime career. Most of his life was devoted to preserving our Democracy. I think we all took our freedoms for granted including myself. My husband and I are entering our 9th retirement year and up until now we were doing ok but we now wake up everyday wondering if our. 50+ yrs. of contributing to SS will show up in our bank account and will our modest financial portfolio turn to dust before we do. Will I be able to continue my annual appts. at MSK and will we be able to afford my husband’s Parkinson ‘s meds through Medicare. Then I also worry about my grandkids future, that definitely keeps me up at night. We have seriously lost our way in these United States (no longer United). After I am long gone, I would love to be a fly on the wall to see how all this plays out. I still have hope but it is dwindling.

I do wish there were a way we could get more Americans to get their news/information from either independent media or in a way better yet, foreign media. People might call you a radical if you listen to independent media but if you follow BBC news, well you're just sort of classy and if you follow Times of India you are probably sort of "high brow" but well informed and if you follow Charlie Angus well you are just awesome!
