Thank you for the updates but I am pretty worried about what the states will do with this new Supreme Court ruling. Also, I hope Meidas Touch keeps fighting for the truth with the Epstein files. Aaron Parnas is being relentless which I am happy about. But I am just worried.
All good Americans are worried and tired. Many may only be worried about how they will pay their utility bill and buy groceries, but many are worried about the demise of democracy and the disenfranchisement of voters who are people of color. Many of us actually believe all that equality and justice for all regardless of color or creed stuff. Regarding the Epstein files, my grand daughter plans on leaving America when she becomes a licensed radiologist because she says the US is not safe for women...so yes it it imperative that we keep fighting for the truth with the Epstein files. The good news is we can do this!! By somehow finding more energy to fight (make call, send letters, donate, protest, attend town halls, run for office..do all we can to hurry the demise of mainstream media)...just getting angry that the GOP think they can wear us down and out...we all need to show a little or a lot that trait that when someone says you can't do it you just have to to prove you can! And we need to recognize that everyone except the well off is indeed tired, worried, scared and we have to never ever belittle that. Here in MO the GOP has said those struggling to pay bills just need to get another job. We have to tell people that is not the answer, they reason they can't pay their bills is because of the policies the GOP has enacted, not any personal failure. I believe we can be both tired and motivated. I used to run a self funded horse rescue and through the years I'd get some sick horses that needed a lot of medical attention, sometimes getting up a few times over night to do stuff. I'd be exhausted but very motivated to do all I could to get them well. And you'd be a lousy human being if you were NOT worried, so thank you!

Absolutely! We need the daily report of facts ...to me that's kinda sorta what "news" is. But it has to be accompanied by suggested actions and those suggestions need to come from sources we trust. I (and probably most of us) get a gazillion (yes that's an exaggeration) emails every day asking for money saying this is the only way to win in November. In most cases I have no idea where money donated to any PAC actually goes. I continue to make calls to my GOP members of Congress even though I know they do not care but when I have space on the voice mail I leave a note that while their seat may be safe I will be donating to other campaigns so the Dems will take back congress. I send emails to NBC and ABC urging them to start to report the truth and that I stopped watching them when they quit reporting the facts and will not return unless they do and that I now support Independent media. I really don't know how much they care about losing viewers but maybe they do. I have tried to contact sponsors but that became a challenge and I quit, but I intend to try again. I don't know how sponsors know how many people watch but they have to consider that I'd think.
I feel confident donating to Vote Riders as I really think they do real stuff like help people get birth certificates or what ever so they can get registered to vote but I'd like to know who is doing something to get those registered voters to the polls. I donate to Blue Missouri which is sort of a part of Every State Blue....their purpose is to get a Democrat running in every race within a state. Here in MO we'd often have many places where the Republican ran unopposed. Chances are we won't win many or even any of those races but it's critical to get the word out to voters...the reason things are as they are is because of who they have put in office not because of personal failures or Joe Biden. I donate to Save America Movement because it seems to me they literally have feet on the ground, or at least in vans driving around. Real stuf fpeople can see. Being here in mind and spirit is as important as being a paid subscriber. That's one reason appreciate MTN so much...so many other substacks will only include you if you are a paid subscriber. In many ways the things we are fighting for the most are things that will benefit persons who at this time don't have the money to be paid subscribers and I think to now include them is counter productive to say the least. I don't know if it costs any more to have unpaid subscribers that just paid subscribers...if it doesn't, well, that's just not very nice in my mind. I don't know how it is now because I asked for my money back and unsubcribed from Aaron Parnas. His comment section was full of maga trolls only there to instigate. There was also a ton of spam. I choose not to use the app, so being on the browser I couldn't report. At 1 point I did download the app so I had the option, except it made absolutely no difference. The maga trolls were always there, always hateful. Trying to post or have a conversation with with someone was virtually impossible because a maga would insert themselves, insulting, calling names, everything trump does and more. After awhile, I said no more. If Parnas can't keep his comment section under control, I want nothing to do with it. I haven't followed Robert Hubble in years. He had comments only for paid subscribers. Every now and again on a weekend, he'd open to everyone. Then maga would bombard the comments and Robert would close after a couple hours. His open for everyone never lasted more than a couple hours because of maga. Maga has dwindled to almost nothing, I rarely see them on Substack anymore. My stomach was turned, my head hurt after every Parnas read, so I'm not interested in going back to him. This is my opinion as protected by my first amendment right, as Ben likes to tell us 😂 Honestly, I can't handle listening to or reading maga comments anymore. How they still stand for a rapist, a felon, a man that stands for no one except himself, I'll never understand. Everything they voted for hasn't happened, yet they claim they're getting what they voted for. Idiots. No new wars and we're in an illegal war with no end in sight.
Goodness I had no idea there were maga trolls in those places!!! I have no idea how the writers of substacks check to see if that is happening,. again, if it takes one person to read comments every day it might be hard to get a volunteer to do that, so they have to come up with money to pay them. Really, that just suck...many of us sort of rely on these substacks to provide a safe place for discussion. Sometimes I get impatient with the comments that only say Trump is terrible and needs to be impeached since we the people (even a lot of Republican voters, just not members of Congress) know that, and repeating it over and over is not going to make it happen. I don't know how it works either. I never knew if reporting went to the writers of the Substack or to someone within Substack. I only know that the spam stayed, the maga comments stayed. It's why I gave up on Parnas. That was over a year ago. I understood on tiktok he'll have trolls, or on YouTube. I thought, because of who I was i was subscriber to years before him, that I'd have the same experience. Except his comments are open to everyone. I surely understand everyone can't pay, and maga take advantage of that. On Popular Information there was a maga guy, I haven't seen in awhile. Not long ago, there was a maga on Heather Cox Richardson Substack. Their comments were removed, I'm guessing so were they because I haven't seen them since then. I don't have time for a lot of Substacks, too much reading when I need to be doing something. I appreciate the videos or the reading of their Substack. That way I can multi-task!

With the exception of checking horsey things on facebook I was never on social media either until the 2024 election. Now that I've discovered youtube I've found it to be a great place for classical music! And some nature related stuff. I actually do think I've learned things from youtube that I don't know if I ever would have found had it not been for the looming demise of democracy in the US. I live in an area where most of the folks (except the majority working at our local hospital) thought COVID was a hoax and no precautions were necessary. If someone actually seemed to get it and died, that was just God's will. My best friend died from it..she had broken her hip and was in a nursing home recuperating and a staff person infected many of the residents and many died. From what he husband told me the death certificates would say cause of death pneumonia or heart failure and not mention they were fine until they contracted COVID. Among other things, something that is sad for me is that all the youth in America are growing up thinking this is normal. All the Republicans send their kids to Sunday school and then encourage them to be liars, pedophiles, bullies and I guess they want their girls to be hookers or something. Very sad. Except my friend that died I never had a lot of friends out here, but after trump was elected the first time I lost all of them. I agree , it's terrible.

I don't know how it works either. I never knew if reporting went to the writers of the Substack or to someone within Substack. I only know that the spam stayed, the maga comments stayed. It's why I gave up on Parnas. That was over a year ago. I understood on tiktok he'll have trolls, or on YouTube. I thought, because of who I was i was subscriber to years before him, that I'd have the same experience. Except his comments are open to everyone. I surely understand everyone can't pay, and maga take advantage of that. On Popular Information there was a maga guy, I haven't seen in awhile. Not long ago, there was a maga on Heather Cox Richardson Substack. Their comments were removed, I'm guessing so were they because I haven't seen them since then. I don't have time for a lot of Substacks, too much reading when I need to be doing something. I appreciate the videos or the reading of their Substack. That way I can multi-task!

Yes Pat. Im only here because of the decline of humanity that for me started with COVID. The denial. The fear. The death And the denial caused chaos. I look forward to the day I dont need to be here i never had any social media accounts. Now I only follow MTN. So terrible
With the exception of checking horsey things on facebook I was never on social media either until the 2024 election. Now that I've discovered youtube I've found it to be a great place for classical music! And some nature related stuff. I actually do think I've learned things from youtube that I don't know if I ever would have found had it not been for the looming demise of democracy in the US. I live in an area where most of the folks (except the majority working at our local hospital) thought COVID was a hoax and no precautions were necessary. If someone actually seemed to get it and died, that was just God's will. My best friend died from it..she had broken her hip and was in a nursing home recuperating and a staff person infected many of the residents and many died. From what he husband told me the death certificates would say cause of death pneumonia or heart failure and not mention they were fine until they contracted COVID. Among other things, something that is sad for me is that all the youth in America are growing up thinking this is normal. All the Republicans send their kids to Sunday school and then encourage them to be liars, pedophiles, bullies and I guess they want their girls to be hookers or something. Very sad. Except my friend that died I never had a lot of friends out here, but after trump was elected the first time I lost all of them. I agree , it's terrible.
We have similar experience Pat. Being in NE corner of PA and having friends in NY . I knew it was real. SO scary. The refrigerator trucks full of bodies and mass graves. Trump denied it and just attacked NY mercilessly. I have You Tube Premium as my main source of television. I love it. So much on there. And MTN. In all my years I never looked at people because of their political party. Always worked in the public. All kinds of people. Never did I think it would be this messed up. 😕

Absolutely not true. Pretty easy to check on the Internet, government sources. Now she can pick and choose to believe or not believe what the official government pages tell her, but it's there. And they DO pay taxes unless they are paid under the table (and then the employer should get in trouble, but that law is fine to break as far as the GOP is concerned).
Not federally funded NO. Some states fund programs to help women and children survive. They have to pay if they go to a clinic or urgent care. Our citizens get perks like you describe.
