Urgent Message from MeidasTouch Founder
Hey Meidas Mighty,
It’s Ben Meiselas, co-founder of the MeidasTouch Network, with an urgent message.
We are stuck in what I’m calling a “two-week loop of failure.”
Every couple of weeks, Donald Trump manipulates the situation with Iran, extending deadlines, shifting narratives, and creating chaos that ripples through global markets. Then the cycle repeats. Again and again.
This isn’t a coincidence. It’s the same pattern we’ve seen throughout Trump’s entire life.
When faced with problems, many of them caused by his own incompetence or recklessness, he doesn’t fix them. He doubles down, makes them worse, and hopes someone else will bail him out. Sometimes that was a bank. Sometimes it was frivolous litigation to draw out a crisis until the other side moves on. Earlier in life, it was his father. But the pattern never changed.
Now that same pattern is being applied to global geopolitics.
We’re watching it play out in real time with Trump’s artificial deadlines, sudden reversals, market swings, and empty claims of progress.
Meanwhile, Iran isn’t operating in chaos. They have plans and timelines. They understand the stakes and are preparing accordingly.
But Trump is just winging it and dragging the United States into instability with him.
Let’s be clear: you can’t have it both ways.
You can’t claim to negotiate while refusing to actually negotiate. Real negotiation requires compromise. It requires respect for the other side. It’s not domination, but a meeting of the minds.
If you don’t want to negotiate, then don’t. But then you’re choosing escalation—and all the consequences that come with it.
What we’re seeing instead is something far more dangerous: We are in a cycle of chaos that creates volatility, weakens institutions, and forces other global powers to step in and fill the vacuum. And they will.
Whether it’s Europe, China, or regional powers, others will eventually broker solutions—and Trump will try to take credit for outcomes he didn’t create. We’ve seen this before.
But here’s the bigger issue: These “two-week loops” aren’t just about foreign policy.
They’re part of a broader political cycle, one that corporate media too often amplifies. A constant back-and-forth. A seesaw. A spectacle. One side up. One side down. “Both sides.” Over and over again.
That’s not healthy for a democracy.
We shouldn’t be treating this like a game. This is about people’s lives. It’s about stability, truth, and long-term well-being. That’s why the MeidasTouch Network exists. We are here to break those cycles. To focus on the truth. To focus on the people, not on the cult of personalities.
And we’re able to do that because of this community.
