Very Important Message from MeidasTouch…

The week is coming to an end. We started the week with Trump’s birthday letter to Epstein being released. Trump and MAGA now claim it’s somehow a forgery. Russia invaded Poland by attacking the NATO member with drones. Trump took no action and said Russia must have “made a mistake.” Right-wing podcaster Charlie Kirk was shot and killed, and no suspect is currently in custody. The FBI under Kash Patel has utterly botched the investigation. Regardless, Trump and Republican leaders have blamed liberals and Democrats for Kirk’s death as part of a broader purge to eradicate Democrats and liberals.

There were numerous other major stories that happened this week. We got horrible inflation data showing headline inflation spiking 2.9 percent year over year and core inflation spiking 3.1 percent year over year. The monthly deficit in August was $345 billion. Jobless claims last week were up significantly. We are less than 20 days from a government shutdown.

With all of this news taking place, I get it can be overwhelming. I know it may seem tempting sometimes to throw in the towel and give up. As MAGA Mike Johnson says about Democratic states like Illinois, “why won’t they just yield to Donald Trump.” We must never yield to Donald Trump and his fascist regime. We must never yield to MAGA. As I previously warned, as Trump gets more desperate, we should expect his regime to ramp up authoritarian intimidation tactics. Unfortunately, nothing the regime is doing now surprises me. It’s out of the authoritarian playbook we’ve seen countless times in history across the world. We’ve never seen it in the United States like this before, but Trump’s tactics are predictable. Importantly, history shows it can be defeated.

One of the key things we need to do to stand up to the regime is to not let them wear you out. They are relentless in their efforts to make you yield. It is important to always commit to never give up. If you need to take time for yourself or to disconnect from the fight, do so and come back well rested. Prioritize your mental health and come back ready to fight. Reach out to people you know and check up on them. Let them know you have their back. Let them know they’re not alone and that you care about them. Let them know that despite what corporate news says, the behavior from the White House is not normal and it is very dangerous.

As we wrap up this week, I also want you to know how important you are to this community. The MeidasTouch Network would not exist if it wasn’t for you. I take my responsibility as a leader of this network seriously. I know the true power of this network resides in people like you and the community you’ve built here. I suspect there will be many more tough weeks ahead. I am confident we will get through them together, just as we did this week, by sticking together, supporting each other, and getting out the truth.
