Folks, tonight Virginia Democrats made history. We can now project that the redistricting referendum has passed, with the yes vote winning by approximately four to four-and-a-half percentage points, and that margin is expected to grow once provisional and late-arriving mail ballots are counted. This constitutional amendment allows Democrats to immediately redraw Virginia’s congressional maps, and the implications are enormous.
