As I was watching the primary results last night I was struck with the thousands upon thousands of voters who were voting for Nazi Republicans who as leader of the CNPP(Christian Nationalist Pedo Party) brazenly corrupts, lies incessantly, shows by his actions he cares little for the American people he serves, and is a threat to the country’s national security.
So not only candidates are aligned with this kind of behavior but have either morally accepted the facts that this is what they stand for as a person or they use a useful tool called denial to rid themselves of guilt of what they represent.
Let’s get this straight. There are candidates and voters who morally align themselves with a political party that stands for outright corruption at the federal/state level, is remarkably racist and bigoted, and is ok with having their taxpayer dollars fleeced to support an illegal war and pay for a ballroom that nobody wants. Perhaps wealthy Republicans don’t care about corruption as long as they can buy expensive homes and take care of their own selfish needs. Screw the country!
How can this be, that a part of our democratic society is so morally depraved? How can it be that part of our democratic society blesses its demise into a feckless dictatorship and willing to throw away their freedoms that for 250y people have died for? There needs to be some serious reflection and introspection for who WE the People are and what WE stand for.

The Ocean Observatories Initiative is not redundant government bloat. It is the world's most advanced continuously operating ocean observation system — monitoring greenhouse gas absorption, marine heat waves, commercial fisheries, coastal flooding along the East Coast, and most critically, the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Current, the massive global conveyor belt of water that some scientists fear is weakening due to climate change. A collapse of that current would trigger severe weather catastrophes across multiple continents.
The instruments measuring that current are anchored 9,200 feet below the surface of the Irminger Sea, between Greenland and Iceland, as part of an international scientific collaboration. They are now being pulled out of the water.
The Trump administration tried to cut the network's funding by 80 percent — twice. Congress restored the money both times. So, the administration is simply dismantling it anyway.

The current farm law, the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018, was signed on December 20, 2018. While the One Big Beautiful Bill enhanced and extended much of the Farm Bill, there are still many provisions set to expire on September 30, 2025, that would have to be dealt with in a "skinny Farm Bill."
The Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry has jurisdiction over the Farm Bill. While I do not serve on this committee, please rest assured I will keep your thoughts in mind should the Farm Bill come before the full Senate for a vote.
