We’re Always Fighting for You!!
By Ben Meiselas
The title of this post is the most important thing to me. It’s what I am thinking about on Saturday morning as I type this.
Fighting for you is what is always on my mind. At all hours.
Fighting for you is the mission statement of the MeidasTouch Network.
Every single day and every single hour, it’s standing up against the Trump regime and doing our part to push back.
We must do so fearlessly, and we must never waver in that mission.
Running a successful news network means being a good listener.
We must know who we are fighting for and what we are fighting for.
I read your comments. I read your emails. I do my best to stop and talk when you see me out and about in public to hear what you are going through.
I think the biggest mistake a news network can make is to frame things through the lens of political gamesmanship instead of the lens of the human condition.
As this network has matured and grown to its current spot as the top news network in America, we’ve made our editorial focus the recognition of the human condition. The issues of affordability, healthcare access, equality, climate, peace, education, home ownership, corruption, fairness, democracy, empathy, and diversity are at the core of our mission and what we talk about. We need to be unapologetic and act with moral clarity and simplicity when we talk about these issues. That’s what I try to do each and every day.
I hope what comes through in my reporting is that I view what I do—and what this network does—as life or death. I feel I am not just making videos; I am making connections with each post that are needed to keep the resistance going, growing, united, and informed. I don’t view what I do as a job, the same way I don’t view this network as a company—it’s a movement.
Today, The Guardian, a paper I deeply respect, published a profile on me that I hope you all will read. The article is called “We’re fighting for you! Podcaster Ben Meiselas on taking on the MAGA media and winning the ratings battle.” It was written by Steve Rose, who captured exactly how I feel right now with words that are far more articulate than I could write. Check out the article after reading this and tell me what you think.
I think that’s what inspired this post most. And frankly, it’s you who inspired this post, this Substack, and all I do. The MeidasMighty community has been one of the most powerful forces fighting for democracy today, and it’s only going to get bigger. This network will get bigger. We will be in more countries. We will have more hosts. We will keep on leading the charts.
I want you to have a good weekend. Tell someone you love that you love them. Give someone a hug. Tell someone about the MeidasTouch Network. Go and do something for yourself. It’s almost time for the No Kings Protest on October 18, so rest up before then!
Before I go record a video, let me just quickly ask that you subscribe to this Substack if you haven’t yet. Subscribing to this Substack gives you access to exclusive content—but even more importantly, it helps grow this independent news network during this critical time. We continue to beat Fox and Joe Rogan, and your subscriptions to this Substack have helped make that possible.
Thanks for reading this. Thanks for being a friend. Thanks for being in this fight with me. Thanks for all you do for your family and this country.

Meidas is doing an amazing job of getting the accurate reporting out there. First place I look for breaking news, the actual facts, not msm sane washing. Great job as always.
Ben, thank you for all the hard work you and the rest of team do. Every day it honest news and analysis. No sane washing of what’s happening.
