When Justice Bows to Power
This isn’t justice. It’s a monarchy cloaked in law, where the courts no longer check power but serve as executioners for Trump’s political vengeance — and we’re all witnesses expected to cheer.

I’ve never been shy about making bold, public predictions. And to date, as you have seen, I’ve been right almost every time. This one is no different. We didn’t just elect President Trump to a second term. We gave him power that looks less like a presidency and more like a monarchy. And this King is already using his courts to punish those who stood against him.
We’re not guessing. We’re not speculating. We’re watching it happen in real time. Every day there’s another headline, another subpoena, another court ruling — and every day Trump is winning. Not quietly, not in the shadows, but right in front of us. It’s the kind of political retribution that used to be whispered about. Now, it’s a press conference.
Ed Martin is the clearest example of how this is being carried out. A longtime Trump loyalist and vocal supporter of those who stormed the Capitol on January 6, Martin now leads something called the “Weaponization Working Group” at the Department of Justice. The title alone sounds like a parody, but the mission is deadly serious: target the president’s political opponents under the banner of rooting out “abuses” in the justice system.
Martin’s first assignments? New York Attorney General Letitia James — the woman who hit Trump with a half-billion-dollar civil fraud judgment — and Senator Adam Schiff, who led the charge on impeachment. Both are facing federal investigations over allegations of mortgage fraud. Both deny wrongdoing. And both now have federal prosecutors digging into their lives because they had the audacity to stand up to the King.
James has called the review a clear act of retaliation, pointing to the obvious link to her case against Trump and her NRA investigation. Schiff is in the same position, fighting accusations timed just right to tarnish him and drain his resources. Martin has even promised to “name and shame” people who aren’t charged with crimes. In other words, innocence won’t save you from the spectacle.
And here’s the part too many people still don’t want to believe: this isn’t just Martin freelancing. This is a system-wide operation. Lower courts are signing off on subpoenas. Appellate courts are upholding them. And the Supreme Court, with a bench largely appointed or influenced by Trump, is quietly letting it stand. The judiciary isn’t a check on this behavior; it’s the delivery mechanism.
During the campaign, now–Vice President JD Vance said Trump “isn’t a vengeful guy.” Trump told Meet the Press there’d be no retribution, only “success.” Less than a year later, the Justice Department — under Attorney General Pam Bondi — is pursuing two of his most high-profile critics on the Trump Hit List. Bondi didn’t just approve it; she put Martin in charge of it and handed him the pardon attorney’s office, giving him even more reach.
This isn’t the loud, table-flipping brand of Trumpism people expect. It’s orderly. It’s strategic. It comes with official seals and case numbers. It moves through the system with the blessing of judges who are supposed to be impartial. To the untrained eye, it looks like the justice system at work. But when the targets are chosen for who they are, not what they’ve done, the law is just camouflage. Trust me, I know this to be true from firsthand experience.
We’ve seen this before — not in America, but in regimes where power is concentrated in one man and the courts are his weapon. The Founders built checks and balances for a reason. But those checks depend on the courage of the people in power, and right now, too many are playing it safe. Meaning, there are none.
So, here’s my newest prediction: both Letitia James and Adam Schiff will be held “accountable.” Whether it’s pursuant to some strained interpretation of law or simply Trump’s personal desire, they are both doomed in this system. That’s not because they’re guilty of anything; it’s because they went after the King and failed to take him down.
And in politics, as in history, there’s an old adage: you don’t strike at a King unless you kill him. They missed — and now, he’s coming for them.
God bless their political souls. May they find peace in the afterlife!
HAPPY SUNDAY! WATCH ME ON MSNBC THIS MORNING DURING THE 8 A.M. EST HOUR AND JOIN ME IN THE FIGHT.
SUBSCRIBE. SHARE. RESTACK. SHOW UP AND BE LOUD.
I’ve spent the last 8 years throwing punches in the dark so truth could get a little daylight. And now I’m asking you to step into the ring with me.
Because if you’re still reading this, you already get it:
This isn’t just a newsletter. It’s a rally cry. A war drum. A line in the sand.
We are not passive observers of the downfall. We are the resistance. We call out the liars. We drag corruption by the collar into the sunlight. We say the quiet parts out loud — and we don’t flinch.
But here’s the truth: I can’t do this solo. Not anymore.
The storm is already here. We are standing in it. And it’s wearing stars and stripes like camouflage, preaching “freedom” while it sells fascism at retail.
So let me ask you:
Are. You. In?
Because this is not a scroll-and-forget read. This is a living, breathing, fire-breathing movement — and movements don’t move unless you do.
We need to be louder than spin, tougher than propaganda, and impossible to gaslight.
That takes more than clicks. More than likes.
It takes skin in the game.
So if you believe truth matters, if you’re sick of the bullshit, if you’re ready to stop screaming into the algorithm and start pushing back with purpose, this is your next step.
HERE’S HOW YOU PUT YOUR FOOT ON THE GAS:
Become a paid subscriber. Fund fearless, unfiltered journalism that hits back.
Share this with the loudest people you know — the ones who never sit down and shut up.
Build the community. Amplify the message. Be the damn megaphone.
And yeah, Founding Members? The first 240 of you will get a signed, numbered, limited-edition Substack version of Revenge. That’s not just a collector’s item. That’s receipts. Proof you didn’t sit this one out.
But let’s be clear:
This isn’t about a book.
It’s about backbone.
It’s about calling out the gaslighters and refusing to be played.
It’s about locking arms and saying, “Not. On. Our. Watch.”
You want to make a difference?
Then make it — right now.
Because if we don’t fight for truth, no one will.
But if we fight together?
They can’t drown us out.
Let’s be so loud, they wish we were just angry tweets.
Let’s be unshakable.
Unignorable.
Un-fucking-breakable.
Let’s go!
