Hey folks,
I don’t know about you, but I’m getting ready for the No Kings protest tomorrow. I found the location of my protest on the nokings.org website, and now I just need to make my sign.
I hope towns across America—and especially here in Los Angeles—turn out in force, because Trump is making a mockery of the rule of law. Kristi Noem said she was going to “liberate” Los Angeles from our duly elected mayor and governor. Well, it’s time to liberate Los Angeles from Trump’s invasion.
The other day while I was driving on the freeway, several white, unmarked vans passed me. Inside were soldiers in uniform, each carrying a long rifle. Were they members of the California National Guard—a force that a judge just declared was unlawfully commandeered by Trump? Or were they Marines? The fact that I couldn’t even tell is terrifying.
We need to show up and peacefully protest in large numbers—in every state, in every city. But make no mistake: there will be MAGA operatives trying to stir up trouble.
Just today, I saw a man approach two police officers in their patrol car and ask if they were citizens. He then had the audacity to question their “honor” for doing their jobs—literally patrolling the city that employs them—instead of heading to downtown Los Angeles, which, by the way, is completely peaceful right now.
I’m sure stories like this are playing out all across the country. The truth is, MAGA is furious that their Dear Leader is so deeply unpopular.
By the way, today, MeidasTouch co-founder Ben Meiselas spoke with Indivisible Co-Executive Director Ezra Levin about tomorrow’s No Kings protests. Indivisible is one of the major organizers of the rallies that will be held across the country. Watch the interview here to get more details on the protests straight from the source:
It’s time, everyone. Let’s show MAGA just how unpopular Trump is—and demand an end to the Trump invasion.
See you on the streets!
We will be out tomorrow, NO KINGS DAY.
Large poster ready:
STAND UP FOR
JUSTICE
DIGNITY
We will be peacefully demonstrating in Simi Valley, California.
I'll be protesting in a small VA town. I'm making my "Unpaid Peaceful Protester" t-shirt now!
