Susan, Trump has been seizing power incrementally; because he has gotten away with his criminality, he is emboldened. I would not be surprised if he pressured Bob Iger to can Kimmel, he would. We’ll see. I agree that Jimmy Kimmel is a powerhouse; his comedy is spot on. Will that matter? Hard to say.

I think that the pocketbook will talk. Don't know that the comedy alone would be enough but 20 million pizzed off viewers? Pretty sure the folks that pay for ads would not be happy either. I'll bet on Jimmy!
Could be. Another possibility is Jimmy ending the show on his own. He has speculated that he may not sign a new contract in 2026. Time will tell. He just became a grandfather. He’s 57 years old. I could see him moving on. I hope not, btw.
I must have missed that show. One I saw he said something like he might retire in a few years. I would really miss him; but, hey a grandkid, that's something to quit for. I now consider 57 as young LOL
If he decides to retire I do believe it will be on his own terms, not dictated by the dictatot. Dictatot was a misspelling; but, I like it. :-)

Oh to be 57 again, Rachel. I have a source for you about Kimmel.

TY, If he does retire maybe Meidas can get him to start a substack and bring his 20 million with him.
My son recently turned 50 and was claiming that he was slowing down. I told him to just wait until he's 78 and then he'll have a reason to complain.
