Apparently, lots of people working in science fields have had their grants cancelled, and they're naturally worried about paying rent, mortgages, etc. I think the 'recision' was just a PR stunt to get the media to move on, meanwhile, the freeze remains in effect. It's been temporary halted by the courts, but it's still going on.

That's interesting..that is another tactic. Flood the zone while they dismantle behind the scenes..what you're saying is exactly that.
