It seems to me that us Boomers are the majority here on Substack. We got fed up with social media and found our way here...in my case, following those we met on Facebook, like Robert Reich, and were glad to have a new way to hear from them after abandoning the places overrun with MAGA. I was thrilled to discover all the 'wicked smaht' authors here, and less of the 'popularity contest'.
Ever since I got my own PC at my age of 24 in 2000 on I've subscribed to all Democratic mailing lists and have been an online Democratic Activist 'cause as a refugee and Legal Permanent Resident that was the only single way I could act. Before that I started in the local libraries in Pittsburgh, PA. As a result, I'm really exhausted of this never-ending pernicious feedback loop of Democrats keep co-depending on and dreading tRumputinist-cult of death. Yet I STILL must fight together with You.... Would so much want all genuinely NONtRumputinist and better yet ANTItRumputinist Americans and such people of the world would be much, much more powerful 'cause this is an extremely heavy burden dumped on our ailing shoulders. Sorry I disagree. The people chose Trump and Biden transferred power as per the Constitution. Biden will go down in history as a Great President and eventually, when we get our Democracy back, the people will have learned a painful but important lesson. Voting matters and it’s everyone’s responsibility to be educated on policies and maintain the Republic. Biden would be no better than Trump otherwise.
