I'm extremely concerned. Yesterday there was some conversation on TikTok talking about why Americans weren't taking Canada seriously when they said they were preparing for war. Some said that it has drawn provinces together that would never ever pull together except in case of threat. They said that Americans seem to think Trump's blathering about annexing is just him blathering, but Trump has repeatedly said it's not a joke. Canadians are saying that Canada is preparing for war. They say they're sorry and they don't wish harm on their American friends and family, but they're getting death threats from Maga - and a LOT of them - clearly the usual Maga threatening to come up and just start shooting. We've had those situations here, too - not sure how they'd just go door to door and shoot Democrats, but in Canada they wouldn't have to check party affiliation. So... why isn't the U.S. taking Canada's preparation seriously? Part of it is Canadians don't know why we haven't heard of them preparing for war.
