I honestly believe I speak for the majority of Americans when I say we are appalled and disgusted by what our government is doing to us and to the countries we’ve considered to be our allies for many years. We’re in the fight of our lives to rid our country of the festering virus that is currently occupying the White House, fighting for our jobs, healthcare, freedom of speech, fighting against the racial injustices, etc. I pray we will one day be able to restore our relationships with Canada and the other great nations our government has alienated.

My concern is that Fox has been on the tvs on military bases for years. I agree with you. Hopefully this is only a fear on my part (and others) and our showing our intense concern is heard and maybe even effective. I'm just not feeling optimistic these days.
I love in a state that's full of military . I'm within 10 miles of one of the biggest military air bases and 1 hr away from the biggest Marine Corps base. This guy's and girls are pushed FOX everywhere. Every TV in anything military is on FOX. Of course, you can't go into a car dealership, pharmacy or pawn shop that doesn't have FOX blaring too. All of our local news channels are owned by that right wing affiliated company that I can't for the life of me remember the name of right now. The local radio is TOTAL MAGA. I can't listen to the radio at all anymore.
The few military that do think for themselves are far and few. That's just the way they brainwash them starting in boot camp. I love and respect our military people don't misunderstand me, but if anyone is counting on them to turn on who ever is POTUS, they would get their feelings hurt. It's just the way they wire them. I'm also a military kid. I was raised on military bases and even went to schools on military bases. They take POTUS as their leader really seriously. Not until I was an adult did I realize how messed up that is. They are sworn to the Constitution just like POTUS and Congress, but their loyalty is to POTUS, never doubt that. It's not right but that's how they think.

Have you tried calling the White House or GOP Senators since Jan 20th? Right after inauguration, the White House comment phone line AND the email address the voice message said to use were down. The email address suddenly didn't work. I've been writing letters to Presidents and others since I was 6 years old. Never have I had difficulty doing so. Now our elected officials have simply turned us citizens off. On many issues we are actually the majority. They don't want to hear us.

Set up a Town Hall Meeting without your representative. Hold the meeting and let everyone share. Take notes/meeting minutes. Send a copy of the official Meeting Minutes to their offices. Post them in newspapers and on every social media or other media you can. Make sure to put at the top who the representative was that did not show and where the town hall meeting was held. Then just report on what happened and all the concerns and questions. Hold these meetings weekly or regularly. Keep the pressure on even if they want to hide and pretend we/you all do not matter!
Then go out and contact a Democrat in your State and invite them to come talk in your district to answer questions. I will bet you they will show up!
I wish that Democrats could introduce a bill that sets presidential limits, to avoid excessive waste of our taxpayer dollars. For example, limit golfing, recreational, frivolous, unnecessary trips on Air Force One (to save on fuel+). The president must spend a reasonable amount of time working at the White House (not rallying, golfing, or partying excessively, i.e. at Mar-A-Lago, etc.). SCOTUS John Roberts needs to backtrack and redeem himself, after allowing Trump complete immunity, to be above the law. Because of this, Trump is now trying to impeach judges. Judge Roberts rebuked this. How long will it be before Trump runs all over Judge Roberts+, or tries to impeach him? Judge Roberts didn't think that far enough ahead about this happening.
I would hope that now the Supreme Court will reverse their immunity in order to Stop this…I have mentioned that protests should also be in front of the Supreme Court for that very reason….
