One of them is evil i.e. so-called "republican party of USA"-its generally antiCivil Rights-antiHuman Rights-antiDemocratic terroristic movements; the other, relative to the former one, the good one i.e. Democratic Party of USA and its Progressive movement.
Most tragically and to utter horror of all NONtRumputinist and better yet ANTItRumputinist Americans and such people of the world, USA's "powers that be" - picked for "the winner" the evil one i.e. so-called "republican party of USA"-its generally antiCivil Rights-antiHuman Rights-antiDemocratic terroristic movements - it's the evil one that sets the game's "rules" - as depraved as that is. Adjusting to the, read carefully!!, the game's "rules" (so, I'm NOT saying - adjust to the evil!!, but to the RAW REALITY of the game's "rules" as ugly as they are, instead of fantasizing about a higher road - something that isn't there!!) REQUIRES THAT DEMOCRATS AND PROGRESSIVES MODIFY AND UPDATE THEIR/OUR STRATEGY - IF THEY WANT TO STAND A CHANCE!! That is NOT a black or white approach - as you immediately tend to rush into a wrong assumption, God Forbid, conclusion how I'm (or, anyone similar to what I'm saying) asking from Democrats and Progressives to, quoting you "becoming that which you are fighting against." (unquote). NOPE!! Pay attention - that is NOT what I was saying BECAUSE THAT IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE!! IT IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE "WORST" (WHATEVER "THE WORST" IN THAT CONTEXT YOU EVEN MEAN) DEMOCRAT IN HIS/HER RETENTION OF HUMANITY OR NO OR GIVING IN TO HATE OR NOT GIVING IN TO HATE - TO BE EVEN COMPARABLE TO A TRUMPUTINIST I.E. See, this overthinking worry on the part of much too many Democrats and Progressives has been a stubborn hurdle to Democrats and Progressives to go along with American electorate the way it is in its raw reality and, IMHO, the main reason why Democrats and Progressives are taken, unfairly or otherwise, as "weak". it's also why Democrats and Progressives are overly too much prone to fall prey to the false equivalences that tRumputinists throw at the Democrats and Progressives - knowing the Democrats' and Progressives' excessive niceness. IT IS NEVER GOOD TO BE EXCESSIVELY NICE - LEARN FROM CANADIAN ATTITUDES!!
Having said this, the psychology and practice of SELF-DEFENSIVENESS AND COUNTEROFFENSIVENESS needs to be much more developed in Democrats and Progressives so to elucidate the most balanced approaches of behavior in the dirty, filthy, evil USA's socio-political arena that it, realistically and most unfortunately, had become long time ago already!! Would appreciate if you'd give it some considerations 'cause it's unlikely I'll be writing this long comments anymore harping always ad nauseam what those who are paid to know this - should've known and should know, even without anyone or me having to tell them!!
Like another commentator said the long story short - We don’t have until the first 100 days, the year, the midterms. Things are going downhill NOW! There will be no country left by the end of the first 100 days! Democracy cannot be saved by the same old practices!
