I apologize for the intensity of my emotions, but I get upset when I think about the stark contrast between a situation where, if I were to steal $5 from someone who could afford it, in desperation for medicine or food, I would be relentlessly pursued and labeled the greatest criminal. Meanwhile, there are far more egregious acts being perpetrated, including the actions of criminal associates trying to take control of a country that once stood at the pinnacle of human achievement—or at least the ideals that it represented. If this is what upsets you, then I believe you have much bigger issues to address.

I tend to get frustrated when I’m waking up at 5 a.m., working through 10-hour days of school, studying everything from the Bible to Shakespeare, pursuing courses in neurology, biology, and more, while millions of people with the collective intelligence of a potato are working to undo something that was once a noble idea. We've endured slavery, the Vietnam War, the Cold War, the First and Second World Wars—through all the ups and downs, we managed to push forward. But now, to see this madness unfold at the end of it all is incredibly disheartening. It’s beyond frustrating.
