As an American, I want to assure you that we believe in Canada and those who know history and geography know we have twice (American Revolution and War of 1812) tried to "take" Canada and failed. We also know Canada is a huge land mass with much more than 1 or 2 provinces (states) and territories. Personally, I would love to see Canada joining our Union as 10 states and shifting our politics away from MAGA, but I know that Canadians are proud of their nation and not interested in joining TrumpAmerica and I do not blame them at all. If I were younger, I might be looking to emigrate north.
