I thought there a generally accepted norm that past presidents largely stay out of things (except during election years when they lend their credibility to their party's current ticket). Having said this, I thought GWB did speak out last year, generally pro-Harris (hmm, that might be too extreme, I don't think he actually endorsed her - but I do think he spoke AGAINST Trump (so is that the same thing as endorsing her??))
