He doesn't care about them. He never did. All he wanted from them was their votes. He said so. So now that he is in office, he is just casting them aside like he does everyone else who is no longer useful to him. The question is - how long will it take for them to realize that they were suckered?
This is why I'm hoping the tariff effect hits hard and fast. That will be the time to hit them with the reality. I did today in my red state grocery after paying 20% more for an item, stating that there would be more to come and I had nothing to do with it.
When we go to pay for items that have been affected by these tariffs, we must loudly complain about why this happened and put the blame where it belongs. Seriously, who can defend these tariffs? We must be loud and proud! I know that I am. I was at Trader Joe's a few days ago when a friend called and we were bitching about the Felon. I made sure that my voice was loud enough for people around me to hear. I did not give one flying fuck who heard me say that people who voted for the Felon were idiots. And I will continue to do this.
