I live in this area, and although she is making the rounds and has good ideas, she doesn't have what this area of Tucson needs. There are 2 other candidates (one being the daughter of Grijalva) and the other being Daniel Hernandez who will continue to represent equality for all, has been endorsed by LGBTQIA+ groups specifically in our area and has a compelling story as well when it comes to his immigrant heritage.

I respectfully disagree with you. Deja Foxx will represent all groups and is not beholden to big money PACs. We need someone who isn’t going to tiptoe around, someone who doesn’t “owe” big donors. Deja Foxx will fight for ALL rights, including LBGTQ.

Looks to be that a good batch of candidates for a certain office is all to the better! Let them speak and debate and explore ideas to help the people in that district!

I agree. I want a fair and balanced report of all the dem candidates at once. What their positions are, what experience they have and what they are championing. Everyone has specific struggles. Simply being a POC, LGBTQ+ or a woman does that for you. I am pleased that all the candidates running are young. Here is the list for people to research themselves:

For the special election to fill Arizona's 7th Congressional District seat, the Democratic primary candidates are:

Deja Foxx: A social media influencer. (age 25)

Adelita Grijalva: Former Pima County Supervisor and daughter of the late Congressman Raúl Grijalva. (53)

Patrick Harris, Sr.: A businessman. (unknown)

Daniel Hernandez, Jr.: A former state lawmaker. (age 35)

José Malvido, Jr.: An Indigenous scholar. (unknown)
