I just had the honor of sitting down with E. Jean Carroll and her extraordinary attorney Robbie Kaplan for an unforgettable interview.
This wasn’t just a legal war story. This was about courage, persistence, and justice in the face of relentless lies and abuse of power. E. Jean Carroll took on Donald Trump in federal court not once, but twice. And she won both times. Trump threw every dirty trick in the book at her, from invoking government immunity to waging a public smear campaign to trying to delay the inevitable with his usual procedural garbage. It didn’t work. Not against E. Jean. Not against Robbie.
And now, E. Jean is breaking her silence with us and releasing her new book, Not My Type: One Woman vs. a President. It’s hilarious. It’s powerful. And it’s essential. She paints Trump exactly as he is—a pathetic fraud in bad makeup who moans, groans, and yes, farts his way through court. But beneath the humor is a woman who was traumatized by a predator and still found the strength to fight back and win.
We spoke about the deposition, where Trump confused a photo of E. Jean with his ex-wife Marla Maples after being warned three times it was coming. Because the truth isn’t blurry, even when Trump pretends it is.
I also asked whether more legal action could be coming, especially after Trump doubled down on his defamatory lies post-verdict, including that repulsive CNN town hall where he turned sexual assault into a punchline for MAGA applause. The answer? All options are on the table.
So what’s the message here? That Trump can be defeated. That liars and abusers can be held accountable. And that even in this chaotic moment, truth still matters. E. Jean’s story is proof that if you stay the course and don’t back down, you can take on the most powerful man in the world and beat him. Twice.
If you care about justice, if you care about democracy, if you care about fighting back against the most dangerous threat to this country, check out this interview and read E. Jean’s book. Share her story. And remember: Trump may lie, cry, and whine—but the truth doesn’t flinch.
This interview will be released soon on the MeidasTouch Podcast as well—so make sure you add the show on Apple Podcasts and Spotify so you don’t miss it.
