This is a major problem, that - and in many rural areas, there might only be broadcast tv if folks don't subscribe to satellite or cable, and guess which channel has the biggest power and coverage? yup. Fox. So many businesses don't pay for cable, but they have tvs and those tvs too often are turned to Fox (because its reception is the best). Our radio and tv stations have been bought up by right-wing billionaires or corporations that DO have an agenda and that agenda is AGAINST and at war with us, the average, non-wealthy individual.

Well we do have hope. Rupert Murdock is 93 years old and he can't live forever.

Years ago as part of a divorce he put all his assets in an irrevocable trust.

When he dies his 4 children get equal shares of the Trust which includes Fox News. 3 of the 4 children do not support Fox New's right wing approach. He recently went to court in Nevada to try and pry open an irrevocable trust and put in a stipulation that Lachlan Murdock must remain in control of Fox News. Lachlan's brother and sisters went to court to oppose changing the irrevocable trust, so let's hope they won in court. We will never know as the proceedings are secret in Nevada. I guess we will all find out when Rupert passes. So we do have hope.
