I've read that Mr. Bisognano has more or less elaborated or somewhat retracted his position. He's now reported, & I've read info to know it's true, that he feels CA gerrymandering is ok. Newsom wants to pass a bill to just gerrymander for '26. If TX completes it's gerrymander for 5 districts, his gerrymander will kick in for 5 CA districts for '28 & '30. We have to assume the worst & be prepared for the worst when it happens. So it's a GRADUATED gerrymander, depending on what TX does.
