Good morning fellow Meidas mighty- same here. Even though I live in SoCal, my rep is a Repugnant who votes party line most of the time. Keeps getting elected because we have a redneck area and low information voter turnout ( and this area

Sorry I cut my sentence off. My area has a strong white supremacy history and motorcycle gang hangouts so very hard to flip blue. I’ve emailed my rep in the past during early Biden term urging him to pass the PACT act and other legislation but I would get politely worded republican messaging and tuned out on his BS. Too many who vote R have still not figured out the billionaire take over of the Republican Party is complete and anyone who is less than a member of that billionaire boys club is useless to them in power now. But I feel these R voters are still to far down the Faux noise propaganda rabbit hole to realize their idiotic choices.
Kathy, Regarding the denseness of Trump voters, your comment reminds me of the old saying attributed to King Solomon in Proverbs 16:18 which states, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." Wait for it…
My representative is Hawley, the seditionist who gave the rioters a thumbs up on 1/6. Waste of my time and electrons to try to talk to him. He's a perfect example of the people in his district.
My rep is Jimmy Panetta and even after calling him several times and talking to his staff about the non profit policy, he still voted Yes to give Trump authorization to defund them and yank their non profit status. He was one of 15 Dems to vote Yes. He claims guardrails will be in place. I said... Right, because the immunity SCOTUS gave him will stop him 🤦
There goes ACLU, NOAA, PBS, NPR, Planned Parenthood, etc. Any one of these top non profits could be impacted
