I agree, although John Stewart did show o’Donnell saying in 2021 that Trump had left Washington for the last time never to return again. He said Trump would be a pariah. Oh well. Obviously Mitch McConnell thought the same thing when he did not convict Trump in the Senate; he said let the courts handle it and look how well that turned out. McConnell could’ve stopped him and did not.
