I WILL NEVER SIGN THE PLEDGE!!

I make you the following promise, Meidas Mighty—although it should go without saying: MeidasTouch will never, ever sign any agreement with the government to have our content censored in any way. I would never even consider signing a pledge from the Pentagon, the White House, or any government entity that requires their approval over the work we do. And while I am usually very, very critical of corporate news for its bending of the knee to Trump, I am pleasantly surprised that almost every news outlet—other than OAN—refused to sign Peter Hegseth’s contract requiring Pentagon approval of any article from defense reporters working inside the Pentagon.

I am glad the corporate news outlets overwhelmingly rejected Hegseth’s demands and humiliated him publicly yesterday. Hegseth is a shameful and pathetic person who deserves zero respect.

One of the things I take great pride in at the MeidasTouch Network is not just holding Trump accountable, but also holding corporate news accountable for enabling him.

One of the things we have been able to prove—very clearly—at the MeidasTouch Network is that if corporate news refuses to do its job, then it will continue to lose its audience to us. Already, more people read and watch MeidasTouch Network than all corporate news. The Trump regime is too afraid to let us anywhere near the White House or Pentagon since they know how ruthless we will be in holding them accountable, as we have with our current vast reporting team.

Corporate news needs to grow a spine, report like Meidas, and do its damn job—or it will not only lose its audience to us, but it will lose its reporters to us. We are expanding as they are shrinking.

We will continue to lead the way in our coverage of Trump’s government shutdown, Trump’s cover-up of the Epstein files, the No Kings Protests scheduled for October 18, all the legal cases taking place, all of Trump’s fraud and corruption, and the atrocities being committed by ICE.

We will also continue our extensive coverage of international affairs and build Meidas networks in countries across the world, as we did in Canada.

It is important that MeidasTouch lead and set an example not just for independent news, but for all news networks.
