I get that District 6 is important, but against all odds Gay has raised millions and we minority Democrats here in the 1st are fighting for the seat by canvassing, phone banking, etc. We have a very real shot given the historically low turnout for special elections! I have been fighting the good fight here in Northwest Florida since 2015, and am tired of getting short shrift not only from the media, but also from our own Florida Democratic Party.
