Thanks for this. I’m Canadian. We are feeling attacked and it’s hard to see that there are many friends supporting us. I’m sorry but the damage that has been done is massive. Canadians will never trust the US government again and we are redirecting our purchases to support our own economy.

please know there is a very large group of Americans who feel the same way. My apologies. I did not vote for him. In fact I had had thoughts that I could go to Canada if need be. To be safe.

Hello, Kim! I don't blame you one bit for how you feel about our government. I am mortified and disgusted by the actions Dear Leader has taken against our most prized friend and ally, Canada. It hurt to hear Canadians boo our national anthem at a recent game, but I sure understand why!! You know, Kim, I was just thinking last night the very same thing you've said here: How will Canada (or ANY of our allies) ever trust us again?! After all, Dear Leader has slithered into office twice and this time it's so much worse! Just know this: Country's governments everywhere are not the sum of the people that live within it's borders. The sane Americans lost the election by just 1.5% of the vote. Yes, we lost, but there are millions and millions of us beyond sick at heart of what has been unleashed on us and the world. Somehow, we will make things right again. The MeidasTouch Network and others are are fighting for and with us, daily. Hang in there -- we sure intend to!💗

You have just cause to feel attacked. Yes, you must feel so let down and vulnerable just as so many Americans do now. I have read about the steps that you are taking to protect yourselves and commend your country's citizens for banding together. I am sorry that it is the USA's actions that you have to counter. Since you are here at Meidas I know that you must know that the majority of American citizens condemn their own country's actions toward your country.

Yes I do. And I appreciate every one of you and count you as friends. That is why I am so hurt at having to harm your economy in return by protecting mine.

We all have to make tough decisions sometimes. When negotiations don't work then action needs to take place. Both of our economies are going to be hurt by the actions of my country. Make no mistake, I love my country; but, can also see it is sure less than perfect. All we can do is hold on to the hope that we citizens can get through these bad times and move forward to better times.

As an aside, my mother's family immigrated to Canada and I still have relatives that live there.

Million of everyday Americans support our neighbors to both the North and South. Will it help Canada if we purchase Canadian products after the tariffs are tacked on even it if means spending more than maybe we planned on? I for one want to support Canada however I can.

Please no that this is not all americans. Unfortunately those of us that don't believe in what Trump and musk are doing are very worried and scared but we are trying to speak out as much as we can. Please don't take offense most of us here can't believe what's going on in this country. I'm embarrassed to be an American at this point in my life.
