The rest of the media fails to meet the moment and doesn’t call out Trumps bullshit. Thank you Ben for always meeting the moment.

What’s the difference between God and Donald Trump?

God doesn’t think he’s Donald Trump.

Bhagavad Gita Quotes on Demons; https://tinyurl.com/3wvzwmtj

"Pride, arrogance, conceit, anger, harshness, and ignorance - these qualities belong to those of demonic nature.” (Verse 16.4) "Those of demonic nature do not know what to do and what not to do. Neither cleanliness nor proper behavior nor truth is found in them." (Verse 16.7) "Bound by hundreds of ties of hope, dedicated to lust and anger, they secure money by illegal means for sense gratification." (Verse 16.12) "The demoniac person thinks: 'So much wealth do I have today, and I will gain more according to my schemes. So much is mine now, and it will increase in the future, more and more.'" (Verse 16.13-15)

Back in 2016, I examined carefully Trump's Brand, which was his primary business model at the time. I noticed some similarities, so I looked up the "Seven Deadly Sins" and realized he was an exact match, with the perspective of "Lazy" in his case being mentally lazy.

As to his actions since then, all I can say is, 'even if he tried' he could not do more than he has done to act as an Agent for Putin, and I would also say, he is to my mind, based on his actions and choices... exactly what I would consider an 'Anti-Christ' to be.

Yeah, you can blame it on his personality disorders, of which he has many, or on his historic track record of never studying, being a con-man, a grifter, criminal... or even his advancing dementia, but does it really matter?

Look at the results and the course of action is clear. It is no longer a matter of debate, because anyone defending trump is either not arguing in good faith, actually wants the evil deeds he has done, or is a clueless cult member. That still leaves lots of people who have not yet clued into exactly who and what Trump is. There is still hope for them.

We know Trump lies, all the time, so why debate if his latest statement has an element of truth buried in it? The course of action is the same.

For any who are unclear, we need to create a source of evidence of ALL his crimes etc... sorted into neat categories. And then just hammer on the list. Trump is guilty. He is evil, or a sufficiently close approximation. He is incompetent. He is corrupt and he corrupts others.

We do not need endless hearing on these matters, the evidence is public and it is clear.

• Does the following remind you of any current president ?

• Satan:
In the Bible, Satan is often described as a fallen angel who rebelled against God, becoming the embodiment of evil and a tempter of humanity.

• Characteristics:

• Deceitful and Lying: Satan is portrayed as a liar and the father of lies, constantly seeking to mislead and deceive.

• Proud and Arrogant: He is seen as having great pride and ambition, leading to his rebellion against God.

• Powerful: Satan is depicted as having considerable power, capable of influencing events and tempting individuals.

• Accuser: In the Book of Revelation, Satan is described as accusing humans before God.

• Fierce and Cruel: The Bible also depicts Satan as fierce and cruel, capable of causing harm and suffering.

Well-considered, well-stated. What about voting denied or if allowed, fair voting?

I have sufficient faith in the Democracy Reflex of both suficient guardians of our democracy AND of our people, because in the final reality of it all, the power inherently comes from the people, not just the guns. In this aspect I agree with the 2nd amendment argument that it is the person with the gun, not the gun itself. Our military came from our people, they are our fellow citizens, and I seriously doubt they will engage in genocide on our own people. The people's will will not be denied, and despite Trump's occaisional efforts to back off, Trump has proven he can not control his worst impulses for very long, and it is Trump who will be motivating the voters this November.

So, yes, Republicans, in obedient submission to Trump, will make every effort to unfairly manipulate this election, but at least some will backfire and the people will prevail, if we keep our eyes on the prize and make the election about Trump, while fielding good candidates.

For 2028, we will need a plan for what we will do once we have the presidency. This is not a small task, but it is critical or we risk blowing our once in a hundred years mandate to make great changes, or risk falling prey to another autocrat.

In 2027, our mandate from the voters is to do everything possible to remove Trump from office, and yes, we can do it, because Republican Politicians want to maintain their seats. We just have to be smart for a change...

From Encyclopedia Britannica

“The Progressive movement was a political and social-reform movement that brought major changes to the United States during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. During this time, known as the Progressive Era, the movement’s goals involved strengthening the national government and addressing people’s economic, social, and political demands. Progressives saw elements of American society that they wished to reform, especially ending the extreme concentration of wealth among the elite and the enormous economic and political power of big business.”

From The Peaceful Solution:

The political right wing has been working to undo these reforms for over 100 years and now they’ve succeeded. It could take many years to restore our democracy, unless the citizens awaken quickly and take the peaceful actions of non cooperation, and economic disengagement.

How much do you want to stop His Royal Heinous and the fascist takeover of the country?

Enough that you’re willing to make a small sacrifice? Like altering your spending habits for a month or two or three? That could be all it would take to get the attention of the oligarchs (formerly known as The Robber Barons in the first Gilded Age, also The Fat Cats, The Greedy Bastards).

A brief demonstration of We, the People’s, power of the purse could persuade them to quit supporting HRH and the politicians who enable him.

We quit spending, except on essentials, businesses lose money, stock market goes down, Greedy Bastards pay attention to our demands.

And in that "Progressive Era" As Well: The Wizard of Oz and the Jews; Aish; 1-Sep-25; https://tinyurl.com/4kpbzj66

Journalist and writer L. Frank Baum published The Wonderful Wizard of Oz in 1900, followed by 13 sequels. Although billed as fantastical tales for children, historians note that Baum’s work reflected the politics of the 19th-century Populist movement. This idea fit with Baum’s eccentric religious leanings. He and his wife Maude converted from Methodism to Theosophy, an occult movement founded by Russian mystic Helena Blavatsky. Blavatsky’s writings were steeped in antisemitism, portraying Jews as “semi-human” and describing Judaism as a “religion of hate and malice.” Even before embracing Theosophy, Baum displayed virulent prejudice. As editor of the Saturday Pioneer newspaper in Aberdeen, South Dakota, in 1890, he called for the “annihilation” of Native Americans, writing after the massacre at Wounded Knee: “Wipe these untamed and untamable creatures off the face of the earth.” Even by the standards of his time, Baum’s racism was extreme.

Trump imagines the world is coming to our aid. He is delusional, as always. No one wants a part in this stupid war. The FCC chair is threatening to revoke licenses to news networks because the White House doesn't like how they are reporting the war. So much for the First Amendment. Thank God for Meidas! Keep doing what you're doing.

Kristi Eisenberg's avatar

I wonder if Trump is delusional or simply believes he can convince a good number of Americans that his fantasies are realities? A consumate snake oil salesman.

Probably both are true.

Willy W.'s avatar

I think he truly believes he is doing a good job. He literally believes he is the best president in US history. It doesn't help when he has surrounded himself with people that reinforce it either. So when the media reports on anything negative, he thinks he is being targetted with lies and propoganda by people out to get him. It's incredible how far off the reservation he truly is... like straight jacket and padded room, far off.

He’s lied before and calls the real news “fake” and his fans follow along. They are unencumbered by the truth and even if they have to acknowledge they’ve been lied to, they can always explain it away somehow to attribute it to Turmp’s noble truth. It’s mind boggling.

Dr. Faustus (1588-1592), from Scene 13. by Christopher (Kit) Marlowe

https://www.owleyes.org/text/faustus/read/scene-13#root-74457-26-26

Impose some end to my incessant pain;

Let Faustus live in hell a thousand years—

A hundred thousand, and—at last—be saved!

O, no end is limited to damned souls!

This soul should fly from me, and I be changed

Unto some brutish beast:

All beasts are happy, for, when they die,

Their souls are soon dissolved in elements;

But mine must live, still to be plagued in hell.

Curst be the parents that engendered me!

No, Faustus: curse thyself: curse Lucifer

That hath deprived thee of the joys of heaven.

[Enter Devils]

Adders and serpents, let me breathe a while!

Ugly hell, gape not! come not, Lucifer!

I'll burn my books!—Ah Mephistophilis!

[Exeunt with Mephistophilis.]
