Important Sunday Message from Ben Meiselas
By Ben Meiselas
Hey everybody. This is my Sunday message. This is where I grab a cup of coffee with you, take a breath, and reflect on the week together. So pour your coffee. Let’s get into it.
First, before going further, I’d love for you to become a paid subscriber.
If you value independent reporting that actually holds power accountable, now is the time. The growth of the MeidasTouch network is powered by you. Subscribe now.
This was a week of accountability. A week where the Trump regime flailed and failed and looked weaker than ever.
We watched Pam Bondi deliver one of the most disastrous testimonies in recent memory. Evasive. Smug. Unprepared. And the Epstein files continue to reverberate through Washington and across the world. Survivors are speaking. Documents are surfacing. The panic is visible.
Then you have Trump saying Bondi did a “great job.” Of course he did. When failure protects him, he calls it success.
Meanwhile, the economic numbers came in ugly. Jobs revised down. 2025 projections weakening. We are effectively in a manufacturing recession while they pretend everything is booming. All we got was even more spin.
And what did it culminate in? A partial shutdown, with the Department of Homeland Security grinding to a halt. Members of Congress sent home. Again. Because they can’t govern.
You’ve got John Thune and Mike Johnson proving, yet again, that MAGA leadership cannot function. They posture. They threaten. They collapse.
This week wasn’t dominance or three-dimensional chess. It was weakness and idiotic checkers by the Trump regime.
At the Munich Security Conference, former allies openly questioned American stability. You could see it. The disbelief. The humiliation. This is what capitulation looks like on the world stage. The United States once led alliances. Now Trump’s stooges get laughed at during these conferences.
And what does Trump do when the walls close in? He rattles sabers. Threatens Iran. Starts floating invading Greenland again. It’s wag-the-dog 101. Create chaos. Change the subject. Distract from Epstein. Distract from incompetence. Distract from collapse.
It’s predictable. It’s transparent. And it’s weak.
But here’s the difference.
The MeidasTouch network keeps expanding.
Our DC bureau is breaking stories. Our international coverage is growing. We’re on the ground in Minneapolis and beyond. We’re not blinking. And this week we’ll be announcing massive plans around the State of the Union. Big. Strategic. Relentless. You’re going to love what we’re rolling out.
If you’ve been watching from the sidelines, now is the moment. Become a paid subscriber.
The reason they attack us is because we’re effective. Because we’re setting the narrative. Because we’re beating cable news at its own game.
This week exposed their weakness.
Next week, we apply more pressure.
Finish your coffee. Get ready. And if you can, hit that paid subscribe button right now. We’re just getting started.

I truly hope the Democrats do walk out on the state of the union speech! I’ve seen it floated to have the Epstein Survivor photos sitting in the chairs and I think that would be a very good message to the ugliness of this regime. None of them have any souls, dignity, respect, integrity!
The U.S. government has not only tested the patience of its own people but has squandered every opportunity to uphold its commitments. Most tragically, it abandoned its 20-year Afghan allies to a merciless enemy. Today, we respectfully call on the American people, U.S. veterans, and senators to remember the Afghan veterans who stood shoulder to shoulder with your forces and to urgently seek solutions to protect them and secure their future. Their courage cannot—and must not—be forgotten.
