Important Sunday Message from MeidasTouch Founder

Hey MeidasMighty. It’s Ben Meiselas, co-founder of MeidasTouch. I am sorry I am sending this later than usual and didn’t get to grab coffee with you this morning. My wife and I booked a trip with our baby Ximena to Disneyland in Anaheim. It’s been raining here, but we got up early and got to bring Ximena on most of the kid rides before the rain came down bad. We brought her to the character lunch and now are going to It’s a Small World since the rain stopped. If you’ve been wondering what that new background was today on my videos, it’s the business center at the California Adventure Hotel.

Sorry if I’m oversharing. And sorry for missing our morning coffee. Let me give you some of my thoughts quickly about the United States invasion of Venezuela. First, it’s patently unlawful. The MeidasTouch Network was the first news network to go live with footage of the United States attack on Venezuela. We brought you video and photos that other networks were struggling to keep up with. From the outset, Meidas didn’t mince words during coverage. We called out the unlawful invasion for what it was. We made clear to report with the moral clarity you expect.

Second, we’ve brought you exclusive interviews and videos with political leaders regarding the invasion. My interview with veteran and Democratic Congressman Pat Ryan has been viewed over 1.5 million times. Ryan condemned the invasion and gave the perspective of a combat veteran who has lost close friends in war.

Third, it is important our coverage emphasized that Trump has not been looking to promote democracy in Venezuela. Instead, Trump wants to seize the oil, and he’s been working with others in Maduro’s regime to keep the ruling party in power while attacking the opposition leader María Machado. Machado gave all the MAGA talking points for Donald and said how the 2020 election was stolen, and in return Donald said she didn’t have the respect of the Venezuelan people.

We also brought you the perspective from Canada with our great host and the leader of MeidasCanada, Charlie Angus. Charlie explained how the people in Canada recognize that Donald’s pronouncement of a “DONROE DOCTRINE” means Trump’s goal has always been to control and “run” Canada, Greenland, Mexico, and the entire Western Hemisphere.

For the past year, you’ve heard me talk about “spheres of influence,” and how the Trump regime sees the world divided into “three spheres.” They see the United States controlling all of the Western Hemisphere, Russia controlling all of Europe, and China controlling all of Asia, with these powers divvying up the oil and rare earth elements in other parts of the world, like Africa.

Ultimately, Trump’s imperial adventurism is despised by the American people. Trump promised lower prices and no wars, and he’s caused inflation to surge, is responsible for wars across the globe, and has destroyed the post–World War global order.

Trump has started 2026 giving the middle finger to the American people and showing that he is a virus and a plague on the entire world. If Trump thinks he’s going to intimidate the American people and people across the globe, he’s mistaken. The MeidasTouch Network is not afraid. We will continue our fearless reporting in 2026.
