Spent several hours on Ocean Avenue and Montana Avenue in Santa Monica, embarrassed home of Stephen Miller, holding "We are All Immigrants" and "No Kings" sign. Lots of positive reinforcement. Went to Kreative for smoothie and they wouldn't let me pay. Challenges though: one thoughtful about a limited immigration policy (but apparently based on the assumption that we liberals want open borders - wonder what cable channel pushes that myth?) and the other brimming with attitude: "Does it bother you that we spend $12B on MediCal for Illegals?" The sign is meant for those still sleeping on their voting hands, not the thoughtful MAGA'ts nor the committed Spencer Darwinian racists. It's a beginning, maybe. Doesn't move the needle noticeably, but maybe it is the first pebble of an avalanche. Starts small, then gets overwhelming. One can hope.
