I live in Washington State but even here...one day in October as I walked my dog on a nearby nature trail, I passed a man with his dog, enjoying the day. He looked back as he went by us and told me that it was good that I had protection. (My pitbulll, I guess). I was wondering why he said that and then it hit me.
