I don't believe it for a second! My daughter lost her job to federal cuts, in March, and she has kept in contact with her coworkers on a group chat. None have found employment still. Last month, I moved her and my grandson home to Seattle from San Diego. She tried applying for Medicaid because she needs help to maintain her chronic diseases. Her medications cost $500 a month out of pocket. We found out yesterday that she was denied. We don't know why because they cited policy numbers without explanation. I expected more from my state and will be writing my House Rep today to see if he can help.
Keep appealing the denials, gather as much information and documentation you can from her drs, after 3 appeals it goes before an administrative law judge for approval/denial. I had to do that for my disabled husband, sadly we lost due to the fact the judge wouldn’t set precedent! Keep appealing though!! 🙏🏻
