Meidas Founder Delivers Memorial Day Message

Today we honor the American soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. My grandpa Murray Golden (hence our slogan, “Truth is Golden”), who passed away almost 20 years ago, was a tail gunner in World War II. He was a Purple Heart recipient. When we would go fishing in his small pond in Boca, Florida, he would share with me the stories of those he served with who didn’t make it back home. It was very emotional and left a lasting impression on me. I always think about that on Memorial Day. I always reflect on the bravery of those who fought and died for our country, and I hope that in some small way I am making them proud by building out this network.

Memorial Day also marks the unofficial start of summer. You’ve heard me call it this before, but this will be known as “Democracy Summer.” We are going to see the largest mass peaceful protests in the history of the country. I can tell that’s where we are headed. The Trump regime has done so much to hurt the people of this country that we will need a collective release of our anger that will also be anchored by our love. The big protest coming up is the No Kings Protest on June 14, where I expect millions of people across the country will show up. Protests will continue to grow from there. We are in touch with all the organizers and will be on the frontlines and embedded to give you the coverage corporate news wants to cover up.

On this Memorial Day, it is worth reflecting on how far we have all come together. Trump and Musk wanted all resistance and opposition destroyed, and they failed. They’ve done severe damage to our country, but they have not shut down the opposition. They captured corporate news and turned it into regime media, but then we grew and grew and grew—became the biggest news network in America. The Meidas Mighty became the most powerful political movement in the country. And we still have a lot of work to do.

As we begin Democracy Summer, I want to first start off by saying thank you for all you do. Next, I want you to know we are always listening to you and what you are experiencing. We will always have your back. We will fight for you always. We will never abandon you. We will never submit or obey the regime. We will never allow our independent reporting to be compromised. I don’t view my leadership of this network as “a job.” I view this as life or death, because I know the trauma this regime is causing you, and I know you deserve a media network like the MeidasTouch Network—whose leadership and hosts are willing to sacrifice it all to fight for you. That is my pledge to you this Memorial Day and always.
