Thank you for all you do! I have been following you and subscribed today. It took me longer. Being on a fixed income, 83 y/o, and serious uncertainty ahead, I have to way everything carefully. But I feel that this is the BEST support I can do as I cannot join an open demonstration march anymore! We are no longer on a slippery slope but an avalanche.

Subscribing is supporting the opposition to the Trump Tyranny. I’m a Canadian senior and also subscribed. The People must win and the sooner the better. Stay safe. All other democratic countries are on your side and fighting against this tyrannical regime ❤️🇨🇦

Thank you, to you personally, and to all others outside of the US who support the anti-tRUMPers here. In my own neighborhood there are people who think tRUMP is bad for the country but are afraid to put up a sign or flag because of fear of retribution.

I'm a senior as well, and not afraid for myself, but for those younger than me. Many of us did not envision a tyrannical future for our nation or our children and grandchildren. We all must do every little or large non-violent thing we can to put a stop to this.

Thank you again Meidas for continuing the fight for truth, justice and the ideals that we hope to achieve for all people.

You said it well! Exactly, all is not about me but my amazing, college grandchildren and all young ones and their parents. I grew up in Germany WWII - fascist brutal existence. Need I say more? I did not suffer to the indescribable horrors as so many others. I lived the American dream after arriving at age 22. To see the treatment of immigrants and less fortunate groups and destruction/eradication of the amazing democratic institutions within 5+ months — still in shock but need to be actively engaged more now for the young. My goodness . . .

Thank you for your encouragement, we desperately need it. I survive on Social Security and I’m very concerned about the future of the program. Without it, I have nothing.

I had a thought. If you are feeling frustrated because you can't get out and protest like you could when you were 20, you can subscribe for free on substack to 50501. In addition to protests, they also coordinate a lot of no/low cost initiatives like keeping a light lit in a window to show support or postcard writing campaigns.

Another great organization is Indivisible. You can sign up free for their newsletter. This weekend they asked for help for a phone bank to support the Supreme court seat in Wisconsin. It's the little things! :)

Among the organizations that the Trump Administration is now starting to figure out ways to declare as subversive and eventually "domestic terrorists," one suspects...

Well Ute, welcome to the 80's in age. 89 here. I have the same ideas as you that's why I subscribed to Meidas a few months back. At this age we're not physically able to do the things we used to do but at least I will be able to keep subscribing until the day I die.

Similar situation here, Ute. I canceled new windows installation and house painting since I fear our Social Security will get cut (or worse) very soon. Dollars count in this time of threats and uncertainty, but I became a subscriber here because having a trusted source for the hard truth is vital now. I'm looking forward to the lnationwide Hands Off protests scheduled for 4/05, (next Saturday). I'm trying to decide what to put on my sign. "F-Elon?" "Dump Trump?" "Eat the Rich?" Sincere suggestions w/b welcome and appreciated!
