They are leading a movement that will organize ordinary, hardworking Americans to take America back from the oligarch fascists that are in control of our government. I hope that all democrats and all independents in Congress will follow their example and provide honest information about how Trump and his administration is destroying our democracy. Use Trump’s tactic of telling the same story over and over again. This counter measure of telling people the truth over and over and bringing the facts to back it up will wake up masses to who this guy really is.
This president is turning our greatest ally, Canada, against us. He is siding with Putin in the war against Ukraine. He appointed Elon Musk to eliminate all of his detractors from the government. I could list a boatload more of the things Trump has done that are detrimental to our country.
If you can convince people to fear, you control them.
Elon Musk in his arrogance and narcissism does not fear us, but he is beginning to. He resorted to having an auto show on the lawn of the white house, that shows he is fearing a little bit.
This week he went on Twitter and hosted an all employee (ALL employees) Tesla meeting and BEGGED ALL employees, Pahleeze do NOT sell your Tesla stock.
Every huge wave starts out as a small wave and gets bigger with momentum.
We need to punish Elon punish him, take away his money by protesting like hell at Tesla outlets and drive his stock value down.
Yesterday a Tesla cyber truck pulled up next to me in the next lane on a city street, I gave him a thumbs down (I am too polite to give the finger to a complete stranger who has done nothing to me). We both rolled down our car windows where I yelled over at him that he was driving a Swasticar. He was actually meek and insisted, "No it is just a car." We had maybe three sentences back and forth and we both moved on. But I know one thing, getting yelled at for driving a Swisticar is going to stay with him. Who knows what Tesla owners group message boards he goes on and repeats the story.
The worm is turning, Elon Musk is just now starting to FEAR US. And he should, we are not taking this shit lying down. We are standing up, fighting, and RESISTING! We are like Anonymous EXPECT US. You me, and everyone here on Meidas Touch, we are fighters. We are fighting back right now.
As another older woman that is as angry as you over all that Trump/Musk Project 2025 team are working to attack our democracy, I applaud your civility yet a sign of disproval in the thumbs down 👎 sign to the cybertruck driver. We as a society need to come together to fight against the oligarchs take over. They want us fighting each other. We will never win over the MAGAs but we need to encourage more moderate Republican voters to join us in fighting against Trump and his billionaires like Musk, Vought and Besset that our working to destroy our democracy by privatizing all government Departments and public lands including our National Parks in order to enrich themselves.
It's us older women who are making such a huge difference. We have nothing left to lose. We've been there done that. And here we are again. Here we are STILL.
My work in California's carceral system is part of my fight for democracy. And who are the volunteers? MOSTLY OLDER WOMEN. Older white women in fact. And yes, older educated white women who are getting messy and boots on the ground angry and very wise in our street smarts. We are on the ground working, organizing, caring.
So a shout out to all us older women who have stopped caretaking the big lies and finding that we have powerful wise voices and abilities to CREATE something rather than just joining in the destruction.
As I note, this administration is not CREATING anything. The patriarchy must dissolve, because they cannot take care of themselves. If enough women realize they are upholding norms and conditioning that have fed into the fascist oligarchy, the system will crumble. And we will be creating a more egalitarian, true democracy of shared and valued voices.

Thanks so much Barry. It's stunning how many more women are organizing protests and showing up. And how many older women. We've been through it already ... and we are more vulnerable because society has conditioned us to be. But actually we are more resilient and self-sufficient, in my experience. I'm impressed too with the courage of those speaking out.
I don't think it is feasible to "nice" our way out of this.
I would not do that to regular Tesla drivers, I would just maybe give a little side eye as we do not know when they bought their car.

The Cyber Truck started selling in Dec 2023 so a full year and 9 months AFTER Musk bought Twitter. So everyone who bought a Cyber truck in basically January 2024 up until now, they knew, they knew who they were buying from.
At his point anyone who supports Musk is my enemy. I have right wing friends, who basically have their head in the sand, they are not my enemy of course, but all the MAGAs are. They are supporting a regime that is destroying what I love, my country. Now they too are in the FO stage of FUFO, let's see them reject it now that it is happening. Now it is real, I ask them do you still support this or not?
Time to stop being polite, nice, compliant, conditioned by the patriarchy. Time for true rage a la Kali Ma ... the other side of what it means to be a woman. We do not have to follow, and we are breaking away from that appeasing, caretaking their feelings etc. LET THEM FEEL IT. LET THEM FEEL OUR RAGE AND OUR WRATH. This is not violence; this is feeling and sensitivity and compassion and outrage. It is JUSTICE, to have our voices heard at long last.
