I am not a politician or a political strategist. But I try to keep up. And I try to speak my truths quietly and clearly. While I don't have a coherent plan per s - I'm just not that evolved - I do have a grown wish list of what I'd like to see relatively soon from liberals and progressives.
First, I'd like to see a liberal counterpart to the Project 25 Plan. I. would like it to itemize the things that need to be done to undo the anti-democratic actions taken by Trump and the Republicans. Ideally, it would cover campaign finance reform, reform of the Electoral College, impose clearer and more enforceable ethics requirements upon government officials, impose penalties for materially and knowing deceiving the public in connection with a political campaign, reform immigration laws, provide meaningful incentives encouraging fiscal responsibility, maintain the independence from the president of various departments of the federal government, including law enforcement, clarify that congress uniquely has power over the government's purse strings, require congressional assent to tariffs by super majority of the congress, place time limits on tariffs, and better prevent emoluments, nepotism and self dealing. In addition, since SCOTUS gave the president a get out of jail free card, conviction by the senate following impeachment must be made much easier.
Second, we must assemble an ambassador corp of the best and brightest liberal thinkers and speakers and train them to be better than they already are. The Democratic Party could play a hand in this. Among other things, they would promote the Counterpart Plan. Maybe a Joe Rogan counterpart is not a panacea for liberals (of course not). But an army of them might make the difference.
Third, a new kind of grass roots organization must be developed. It might look. something like Indivisible, which I am already personally supporting. It is non-partisan and should be non-partisan. It should be billed as an effort to prevent the imminent collapse of the American experiment.
That's enough to start with, It's going to be an iterative effort. In any event, I'd like to see something more than collective opposition to a Joe Rogan counterpart. It doesn't advance our cause.

I agree with your list of things needing attention. That said, I have a hard time seeing how we can or will work together to make anything happen. The divisions are so great right now that agreeing on anything seems highly unlikely. People are suspicious of each other and fear is rampant. Sadly, those who are the best and brightest of us are under attack and being driven away. They are finding other countries where knowledge is respected, research is funded and new ideas are embraced. They will be appreciated, put down roots and it will be hard to entice them to come back. Like you, I support Indivisibles and I belong to a local chapter as well. It is easy to get overwhelmed by the damage being done to this country by our own people but I find comfort and, yes, hope in this Meidas community. One step at a time is difficult for a society use to instant gratification. We must adapt and focus. We've done this before and we can do it again. There is no other option.
