Great show! Y'all gave a lot to think about and are funny. What Pritzker said really stood out for me: That if people aren't active in some way - they/we are definitely not meeting the moment at all in putting pressure on the Repubs to get some freaking balls and do the right thing on ANYthing. Even just calling other people we know to talk with them.

I'm active and helping with organizing and showing up. And, I'm concerned most activist groups and those pushing outreach to legislators don't seem to be encouraging voter/citizen outreach, even just handouts and yard signs. Easy.

I made up little leaflets to pass out to clerks while on errands ("just sharing some info, share it if you think it's important (it includes how people can help push back). thanks, bye!"), or putting them on a few windshields, and red yard signs: "Code Red: Did you vote to ....invade Greenland & Panama?" --Point being, why, when it's an election campaign, that organizers get it that direct outreach matters -but when we're in the campaign of our lifetimes to just survive and throw this imminent peril off, leaders aren't pushing it as something everyone needs to be doing? --Kind of like Pritzker was saying. This is ALL hands on deck --just do WHATever it is you can do.

And, why aren't we outside some media outlets and P25 funder businesses, where more people not paying attention will see us and our messages?

So, we can be mad at some of our Dem leaders, but are we the foot-soldiers and organizers doing all WE can, as innovatively as we can? I don't believe so.

Thanks for listening, and your work. Signed, former Greenpeace staffer ;-)
