He never knows what he is talking about. Has anyone seen what the government is doing to Democratic Vets? At the VA, the doctors do not have to treat a democrat or single vets if they are Democrats. First, what does party have to do with medical treatment? Second, what about oaths doctors take? They can have treatment, but may have to shop for a doctor that will treat a democrat. This is inexcusable. These people are HEROS, not suckers and losers that tRump calls them. They were good enough to serve our country, not like trump, but not good enough for medical care. I think we should have huge protest on this matter all over our country. I would think that maga would march with us because they served together, saved each other lives and thought of themselves as Americans, not by what party they belonged to. If this could happen to democrats, it could, also, happen to republicans when he tries to get everyone out of his sight, unless they are super rich republicans bending down to the "king."
1. Acceptable Behavior: The VA expects that members of the medical staff will serve diligently, loyally, and cooperatively. They must avoid misconduct and other activities that conflict with their duties; exercise courtesy and dignity; and otherwise conduct themselves, both on and off duty, in a manner that reflects positively upon themselves and VA. Acceptable behavior includes the following (1) being on duty as scheduled. (2) being impartial in carrying out official duties and avoiding any action that might result in, or look as though, a medical staff member is giving preferential treatment to any person, group or organization, (3) not discriminating on the basis of any legally protected status, including legally protected status such as race, color, religion, sex, or prior protected activity in any employment matter or in providing benefits under any law administered by VA.
That same section in the bylaws dating back to 2023 included language about national origin, politics and marital status that was absent in the 2025 bylaws. The 2023 bylaws read, in part (emphasis ours):

When I read what was put out in 2 sources that I trusted, I was so mad and I thought it was true because of what he is doing to our country. Yesterday, I went to our local VFW and they said that it was not true, then I went to The Veterans Administration in my town and asked them. Same answer, then I called the VA and was told this is not true and that many people were calling about the same thing. We were all duped. I am sorry that I trusted my sources and will never trust them again. I put this in the chats because I trusted sources that I have since found out can't be trusted. I am mad at myself for doing it. I will never intentionally tell untruths. I am sorry for any concern that I caused to anyone.
TY for doing the real legwork, i.e., going to the local sources. Since I had not heard about this I just had to get more info on it. Several sources said just what you wrote; but, they all said it COULD happen, and in all reality I think that it COULD.
What appears to be the case right now is that the VA has no intention of denying health care to Veterans. Let's hope it stays that way.
What I was told by the VA was that they do not ask what party their patient is with and are will treat anyone that they should. Parties do not matter in the service, only our Constitution. That's where their oath is.
