I have shopped at Amazon for at least 20 years. When WaPo, under Bezos, declined to publish an endorsement of Harris and gave Trump a million dollars I decided not to shop there anymore. I was never a Prime member so couldn't cancel Prime. lol I've never seen any point in paying someone so that I could spend my money with them, therefore; never joined Sam's Club or Costco.

There are items that I regularly ordered from Amazon and noticed that many were sent by a different company. So, I needed some rat poison -- rats are all over, both figuratively and literally. Anyway, I looked up the company and went online and found them. I ordered the poison directly from the company. Got great service and probably saved the company a little money in the process.

Also, Bezos seems to forget that he was not always a billionaire. He started his business in his garage, he apparently has forgotten this. He doesn't treat his employees fairly and not to be outdone started a "cheap" area to counter Temu and Shein. I don't shop either of those places anymore either, especially Shein since it is said they use "slave labor".

As much as I hate having to go to town (it's 10 miles away) I have been going to local businesses for most things now.

I cancel Prime, all of recurring product subscriptions and have not purchased anything from Amazon. I have found many items I subscribed to, locally and at other online retailers, for the same price and sometimes less with free shipping. I cancelled my WAPO subscription. FUCK BEZOS.

I cancelled Hulu (Disney) and now only subscribe to PBS and Britbox.

I check labels and do not buy products from red states. I buy Canadian whiskey and products. I also buy products from Mexico. I have found items on Costco's website cheaper than Amazon.

I may just be one person, but I do what I can.

There are many people doing the same thing. It may seem that you and I are only 2 people doing this; but, there are 1 or 2 someplace else doing it too.

It has an accumulative effect. I suspect that people who quit using Amazon will eventually be getting some kind of offer trying to get them to return.

I wonder what businesses, if any, are no longer selling on Amazon?
