NY AG Letitia James on Trump's 100 Days of Lawless Chaos

New York Attorney General joins MeidasTouch for an exclusive interview

By Ben Meiselas

I just wrapped up a very important interview on the MeidasTouch Network. I was joined by New York Attorney General Letitia James—yes, the same Letitia James who won a $454 million civil fraud judgment against Donald Trump. And she’s not slowing down.

We covered everything from Trump’s abuse of executive power to his dismantling of due process in this country. While Trump is busy selling scammy “gold cards” to foreign oligarchs like it’s a late-night infomercial, AG James is fighting in the courts to protect our Constitution.

She didn’t hold back. She called out Trump’s attack on immigrant communities, including those who supported him, and warned about the devastating consequences of eliminating Temporary Protected Status for people fleeing violence, war, and persecution. She condemned the recent chilling arrest of a state court judge by federal agents right inside her courtroom. Lets not normalize this. Trump’s regime is now arresting judges mid-session. If that doesn’t scream authoritarianism, I don’t know what does.

We need to get these messages out far and wide. Remember to add the MeidasTouch Podcast on Apple Podcasts and Spotify—and if you’ve already done that, leave a 5-star review today!

AG James also made it crystal clear: Trump’s executive orders are often illegal, unconstitutional, and driven by nothing but self-enrichment and retribution. Her office is already involved in 15 lawsuits against Trump’s lawless actions—and that’s just in the first 100 days.

We also discussed something that should concern every American: potential stock market manipulation by Trump and his cronies. And AG James broke major news on the podcast. As AG James explained, her office is actively investigating whether Trump’s pump-and-dump-style schemes, where he makes wild, self-serving economic claims to trigger artificial market swings, are legally actionable. Trump has hollowed out the very federal agencies meant to police this behavior, leaving watchdogs like Letitia James to do the work he refuses to do.

This interview wasn’t just about Trump’s criminal behavior—it was about hope. Because as Letitia James reminded us, government can be a force for good. It should be a force for good. But that only happens when people like her—and people like you—refuse to back down.

Watch the full interview now. Share the MeidasTouch Podcast with friends and family. Talk about it. Organize. Because Trump may have the gold cards, but we’ve got the truth—and the Constitution—on our side.

Let’s keep fighting.
