My 14 year old grandson and his parents live with me. I taught US government, history and law for over 25 years in our MAGA upper middle-class town so I've been curious how he's being taught today First, there is no current events being discussed or assigned in social studies! Second, their curricula is to teach the Citizenship Test. Period. Even when they teach the 1st Amendment, there is no discussion other than memorizing the printed words. He's lucky his parents and I have nightly discussions enriching his knowledge at home from what he should be learning or at least discussing in class.
His friends, I doubt. Most are silent about anything political but his classmates wear MAGA merch to class and sing songs of Charlie Kirk. Instead we've schooled him on what he is to tell his future children and grandchildren.
How sad the schools let that happen. So much for unbiased education. I am sorry the school is allowing it. You are doing the best thing and I am glad he is accepting the things you and his parents are teaching him

He interviewed people and let them tell their stories. When all was said and done, I expect LEMON's journalism was more favorable to the church people and the pastor than to the yahoos who thought they were above the Constitution and could invade a house of worship. Arresting DON LEMON, however, is a travesty. The reality is that his work showed that the Left does have some self-righteous jackasses, but the MAGA folks were too dumb to realize that. Thus, they decided to trash the constitution by attacking the journalist who had the story they needed.

The Montgomery bus boycott worked because of its simplicity, but it took a year, after fifteen years of organizing, and those folks were highly motivated and had very charismatic leaders. People now talk about Tesla and Target boycotts working, but they haven’t. Neither company has changed their behavior. Losing stock value is not success.

I've been an attorney since 1977 and I just read the INDICTMENT signed by Pan Bondi, etc. against Don Lemon and others. If I were a federal judge, I would impose significant Rule 1 sanctions on Pam Bondi.
Rule 11 sanctions can be imposed if an attorney files a misleading indictment that lacks a factual basis or is presented for improper purposes, such as harassment or unnecessary delay.
Omission of material facts is a form of fraud which is one form of misleading information. The INDICTMENT omits the fact that Don Lemon is a recognized journalist. This is relevant since every factual allegation about him describes a journalist doing his job. The sole and only purpose of such an INDICTMENT is the improper purpose of harassment.
