A political party can't just say, "We care about you!", they have to demonstrate it, and big infrastructure programs poorly translate to that message. Sure, tRump bleated out some sort of "care" message, but it was freighted in dystopic images that "only he can fix", and the propaganda worked stunningly well. For whatever reason - and many have been proffered - tRump's messaging struck very responsive chords across the electorate as a whole, and his secret sauce - however bizarre and cheesy it is - has not been duplicated nor neutralized by the
Dems, save the Biden win.
Voters were saying two weeks ago that they wanted more "caring", and tRump answered the call far more effectively than Harris did, largely due to Goebbels-level propaganda success. Of course, now he and his star-crossed administration have to deliver the goods, but it remains the question of how much real performance vs performative jiving can carry the day with a majority of voters...can they REALLY tell the difference? Can MAGA propaganda really sustain an invented reality?
An interesting sociological experiment is about to launch, and I defy anyone to predict the outcome. tRump - and tRumpism - are variables never before encountered in this country's history, and it's a mug's game to parse out with any certainty of methodology, how to account for
it, and to assess how it evolves or ends.
tRump in 2028? If he's still alive, is it really impossible?
