I Really, REALLY LIKE getting this text article about what you talked about on your podcast.

I really like it.

We know you cannot do the ... bullet point paragraphs for the nightly bulletin on your podcast day. It's too much for anyone to do that.

But this written summary gives those of us who prefer text or a podcast something new to read. It is perfect.

Thank you.

Personally, I don't like podcasts or tapes and much prefer to read about my political interests on my computer. If I'm on a long road trip, then yes, it's good to listen to a lengthy podcast or someone reading a book that interests me; it helps the time go by. But otherwise, I would always appreciate the type of summary you provide in this piece on Substack to just sitting in a chair or couch listening to a recorded conversation. Perhaps most podcast-oriented people would probably disagree, but each to his/her own.

I like my news in text. I dislike YouTube videos. However, at night when I go to bed, I love listening to podcasts. I put the blue tooth speaker under my pillow and create a playlist on Apple podcast. I fall asleep listing to podcasts most nights.

For my straight up news I prefer text, but for news anaysis I do like podcasts. Mainly I listen to lawyers podcasts.

Hi Ron. I would like hear a discussion about where the tariff money is going. Trump keeps talking about how “we’re”going to be really really rich. When he talked about tariffs during the campaign, he talked about how it would pay off the debt in no time. Since being elected he’s only talked about how rich “we” are going to be. A very bright spotlight needs to be shined on where all this tariff money is going. Seems like it’s going to end up being a slush fund for his personal agenda items and acquisitions.

I chalk Trump babbling about " we're going to be so rich" to his con man persona. Trump has relied on Americans who desperately want to believe that one day they too will be rich and able to exploit tax loopholes.

It's a fantasy of course, but a seductive one for too many people.

I wrote weeks ago that it seems tariff monies end up in the US treasury and therefore can and will be pissed away on anything and everything that does not particularly help everyday Americans. You can rest assured. And when prices go up so do the sales taxes collected on our purchases that we pay to our home states. Only the rich will survive and that is how the Orange Man and his MAGA congress people want it to be. ____ Oh. you dumb fucks who thought your messiah was put on this earth to save you. So sad.

Yes. I have the same question. It would be "interesting" to hear the administration explain the route $$ would take once a tariffed product is sold to another country AND in the reverse, bought here. (Let's see just how many versions of mumbo jumbo & gaslighting do you think we'll hear?)

The Nazi Playbook

Low income Americans can’t help with campaign donations but certainly the megawealthy can open their wallets And so the Orange Nazi mob boss is not only pardoning all his rich cronies who are legitimately in jail but he’s now increasing the federal debt with another massive tax cut to an unsustainable $40+T just to put the affluent in a position of “you owe me one”

This is all at the expense of the disabled, indigent, and less fortunate…...of course the wealthy Nazis demonize those as fraudsters and moochers Their social safety net will be destroyed but the billionaire Nazis don’t care The point is cruelty just as it is with the civil service workers All to serve the billionaire oligarchs and those who are elite enough to lead So arrogant and disgusting

But this is a playbook as old as time but with a twist The Nazi mob boss got this most recent 21st century form from Putin his buddy in Moscow Create a group of rich powerbrokers around you and then make them extremely wildly prosperous and then take their positions of power away from them so they have no where to go but support the Orange mob boss In Russia the oligarchs made a deal with the devil and paid a heavy price Musk is finding out what it means to be an oligarch that will be on the wrong side of the boss and will pay dearly

Americans can easily outnumber and outwork the oligarchs Donate if you can Protest Protest Protest French Revolution 2.0!!!

Why is Lutnick pushing tariffs? It makes no sense unless the goal is to tank the economy and sell off assets to the billionaires at discount prices.

They have this very dumb belief that they can drive currencies down around the globe such that the tariffs will be a wash. But math is about to meet human behavior and he’s so hated, I imagine that all of us will do without certain things if it means he fails. And he will.

Because he is stupid. He is not able to process complicated analysis and data.

Just like Trump he thinks binary, will not put in the effort or is actually incapable to read and understand in depth analysis. Will always always just do the "easiest" action. Why? Because it is simple and easy. Trump and Nutlick are intellectually lazy.

Ron, thank you.

Musk fumbled and that's not going well for him. Schumer needs to move out of Booker's way. Lutnick will likely get the shaft just like everyone else who believed they had "exclusive access" to The Dumpster. Vance is a bumbling idiot and (still in the background grumbling) is Bannon who was unceremoniously replaced as the favorite guy pal of Trumpkin by Musk.

The next domino to fall, crash, and burn is likely to be Mr. Nazi. The ugly skinny little Jewish boy who got picked on and chased as a child now is just as twisted and hateful as his idol. His old Rabbi is even shocked at how he turned out. Oh, well, his mental state is questionable as is Trumpy's at this point.

Bottom line: What transpired in the last 24 hours ain't good for MAGA. Not even a little bit.

Agree. We’ve been offline since Wednesday (major destructive storms). Just getting back. You’re absolute right about signalgate. What I’m very suspicious about is the failure (yes, FAILURE!) of the Pope and King Charles to openly and publicly condemn this horrible slap in the face the Globe is getting from fancy cheeto and his south african male whore.

While the markets are crashing and veterans (as well as others) are losing health benefits and jobs and being threatened with foreclosure Frumpity Doo Doo plays with the Saudi’s at Mar-A-Lardo laughing at the pain he’s caused.

How long is he going to present his butt to us—to the world to kiss? What is it going to take to bring MAGA to a full stop? Well, I’m encourage to learn that the Resistance is growing in numbers and in loudness. I’m thrilled to see people from all communities, ethnicities, professions, political and religious views, skin colors, genders, etc. (whatever the heck we find time to separate ourself with) coming together to unite against evil.

This is not what Project 2025 wanted but they failed to pay attention to an old clichéd ditty aka “ …The best plans of mice and men …” Up with American, the Meidas Mighty, the Resistance and down with tyranny.

On top of Dems closing the electoral gap in FL yesterday, and Judge Susan Crawford being elected to the WI Supreme Court, I thought it was interesting that all 4 state constitutional amendments in LA failed by more than 60% of the vote each, everything from charging juveniles as adults, to judicial vacancies, to school funding. LA voters said HELL NO to LA republicans. People are angry at the MAGA party no matter what the voters' political leanings are.

Thank you for providing updates. Sometimes I miss something and it’s nice to get caught up.

I’m Canadian and I have a question, trump alluded to tariffs being a replacement for income tax and companies needed to move to the US to avoid tariffs. If his wildest dreams come true and manufacturers all move to the US, tariffs go away and there’s no income tax, then what? Where does the funding come from to pay for anything? I have a limited understanding of this and I find it baffling.

He is lying to Americans about what Canada charges. It’s a tariff rate quota and it’s done to protect our industries, like he claims to be doing. My understanding is the US has some high tariffs placed on certain items too (tariff rate quotas)on items like sugar beets, sugar cane, cotton beef and cereal.

Don’t be distracted PEOPLE There may not be any more free and fair elections according to Trump https://bit.ly/3FqVCYa July 27, 2024

There is soooo much torrent of material for digestion these days but one of the important issues is HOW THE HELL DID TRUMP WIN THE ELECTION? with such a concerted effort by Democrats

As one might expect with such an amazing effort by the Democrats to try to win they lost by 1.5% of the votes This will open your eyes as to a RIGGED ELECTION bit.ly/43K4Gl2

It requires a subscription but well worth the money like Meidas Touch Network because it lays bare the pathetic Democratic party response This has led to a demoralized cynical Democratic electorate saying "What's the use" or "Here they are begging for another campaign contribution" And that's exactly what the Republicans want to see Lay down and let us take over the country Congressional Democrats have dropped 37% in approval

Red states need to stop their legislatures from voter suppression tactics

We are in dangerous times Don't lay down Educate yourself and support the opposition effort The Republicans are subversively rigging the elections and are counting that they will continue to control the House and Senate at the midterms That’s the end of democracy Hello Nationalist Dictatorships

I believe that you have hit it out of the park! Why did the Democrats LOSE the election? By 1.5% points only? RIGGED ELECTION, that’s how. As you stated above we are aware of many ballots that were rejected to be counted that were mail-in ballots that were NOT COUNTED due to ‘NO DATE on the envelope, SIGNATURE unrecognizable, ballot MARKED incorrectly (out the lines). And yet, this past election was promoted as a great chance and MAIL IN YOUR BALLOT option to make it easier to get your vote counted! People wake up! We may not have any more elections in 2026 or 2028 if this administration gets what the Project 2025 has set into motion, and it HAS BEEN SET INTO MOTION. Thanks Ron for unwavering dedication and MeidasTouch for the information you have continued to provide to the people.
