We started out talking about Elon Musk attacking Trump and Mike Johnson’s budget last night and it got even worse today. We talked about the different theories about what might be going on behind the scenes and also how this could play out going forward.

We also talked a lot about the economy, the budget, and tariffs - especially the 50% tariffs on steel and aluminum that just went into effect today.

I talked about Steve Bannon saying today that the only way to seriously cut the deficit is to tax the rich and he called on Republicans in Congress to raise taxes on the highest earners.

I explained why Bannon just called for Lindsey Graham to be arrested.

We also talked about Trump’s insane conspiracies about Biden and how James Comer is about to hold congressional hearings on them.

I talked about the TV ratings for CNN since Jake Tapper’s book came out and also talked a little about a few MSNBC show ratings.
