Ron Filipkowski on Today's Uncovered

Well, I got a little heated and worked up today as the show went on venting about a few things - particularly how the media handles questioning Trump and his cabinet officials. When I write about these things it is a lot easier to be dispassionate than when I have to watch the clips and talk about them like today on Uncovered.

I apologize for doing some yelling there in the second half of the show, but sometimes I feel like there is such a small handful of people aware of the scale of corruption and criminality happening with this admin behind the scenes and when I see people in a position to push back and instead they roll over sometimes I get upset. Maybe you feel the same way. Bottom line is that my doctor increased my blood pressure medication this week, which was never an issue before Trump was elected president!

We started out talking about Trump’s trip to England to hang out with King Charles. Anthony had some good insight about what the UK is trying to accomplish here since he was a broadcaster in London covering the royals for so many years, and I added why many of the things that happened on this trip are important to Trump.

I also talked about the batshit crazy Kash Patel hearings before the House and Senate where we played and discussed several clips. I explained why I believe he will be fired soon and how he bungled the Charlie Kirk investigation. Anthony disagreed with me that he will be fired and we hashed out the rationale behind our positions on that.

We also talked a lot about Charlie Kirk, things he has said in the past, things he and other Republicans said about Paul Pelosi and Democrats, along with Mike Johnson’s absurd comments about Democrats supposedly verbally abusing Republicans to incite violent incidents.

I also talked about the reasons why I think the Kirk murder is the Reichstag fire moment for MAGA, where Stephen Miller, Pam Bondi and others are using this to mobilize and weaponize government power to suppress civil liberties and go after not only their political opponents but tens of thousands of ordinary Americans who dare to express their opinions.

Along those lines we talked about Dep AG Todd Blanche talking about prosecuting women who protested Trump at a restaurant for RICO, claiming their words were terrorism against the US. That came just one day after Bondi said she was going to criminally prosecute people for “hate speech” who said disparaging things about Kirk.

I also broke down Trump’s multi-billion dollar crypto scam with UAE, my frustrations with the media who covers Trump dropping the ball on this issue, and CNBC’s disgraceful interview with Eric Trump about it.
