Don't fall, yet again, for his lies. The trade deficit is: the difference between what American businesses sell overseas and what they purchases from foreign suppliers. We sell miniscule amounts compared to what we buy. If American businesses come out ahead it amounts to a very small amount because "we" buy far more than "we" sell.
If the US manufactured more products than we bought we'd be in good shape. [ keep in mind...Biden made it so that TSMC would invest BILLION$$$ to build a plant in AZ to manufacture microchips in the US]. God only know how much longer that plant will be underconstruction and when people will be employed there but THAT was a good move for the US.
The bumpy road and "medicine" the US must injest before his dream of bringing manufacturing back to US soil could be 5 years or more. His tariff approach is I'll conceived and he's running a scam on the fools who think he knows what he's doing. Sadly, I think all this bruhaha all just a smoke screen for what he's really got waiting ahead for us.
HIS PLAN: gut the US [and world economy], sew fear and frustration, make the populous so befuddled that they will be happy to grovel for scraps [do you know where your closest food pantry is? Do you think it'll still be functioning in a year?], create a war so he can take over every aspect of our lives, throw the constitution into a fire along with any proof of his illegal deeds. He just demented enough to think he will be happy with his creation. Many people will die [poverty induced lack of healthcare], give up, commit suicide or otherwise "check out"?

I've thought about moving out of the US. And I've considered several Central American countries but, I doubt anywhere will be safe...BTW, El Salvador was never on my list.. .but if I keep this up I might end up there.
