None dare call Trump Krasnov. A vote for a Republican may be a vote for Putin.

AI Overview

The Russian government has authorized covert online disinformation and influence operations targeting the 2026 U.S. midterm elections to create chaos and amplify domestic political divisions, according to The New York Times.

The New York Times

Key Details of Russian Interference for 2026

U.S. Intelligence Assessments: Classified U.S. intelligence reports indicate that the Kremlin has deployed digital influence campaigns across social media platforms, though current efforts appear less extensive or coordinated than past presidential election cycles, as reported by The New York Times.

No Voting Infrastructure Compromise: U.S. intelligence agencies have found no evidence that Russian actors are attempting to target or compromise actual voting machinery or the physical vote-counting process.

Artificial Intelligence and Deepfakes: Disinformation researchers have identified AI-generated fake videos—including fabricated clips of Hollywood celebrities—being used on social media to influence views on key battleground Senate races.

Social Media Platform Enforcement: Platforms like X (formerly Twitter) have actively banned thousands of accounts tied to foreign influence networks, including operations linked to Russia, Iran, and China that amplify divisive U.S. political content, as detailed by The New York Times.

Legislative and Bipartisan Scrutiny: Lawmakers—led by figures such as Congresswoman Deborah Ross—have formally urged federal agencies to evaluate how Russian interference tactics observed in European elections (such as Moldova, Armenia, and France) could threaten the 2026 U.S. midterm

The digital influence has an effect BUT The Elon Musk factor is the greatest manipulator like he did with the starlink system in 2024.

Creating fake counties and eliminating Harris votes while loading additional Trump votes.

"A vote for a Republican may be a vote for Putin"

That is an important statement. Instead of tying Republi-CONS to t-Rump, maybe

we need to tie them all the way back to the actual source.

It is not just America that needs a huge democracy win in November ...... the world is also counting on Americans to regain control of this rudderless ship of freedom and put the insane captain Trump in irons.

Maurine Mihalek's avatar

And then there he was at Mar-a-Lago last night, looking like death. He looked awful, just withering away.

Ben,

trump is not withering away fast enough.

When is karma gonna show up?

Karma ..... karma, karma, karma, karma, karma chameleon......Boy George has said it is a chameleon!

Just thinking here but as a countermeasure to Trump’s planned pardoning of everyone in his administration, including himself, wouldn’t it be smarter for Democrats in the House and Senate to work with state AGs to seek state criminal charges against those persons? Trump cannot pardon state crimes and those in his administration have certainly hurt citizens of every state in some way or another and generally by acting on nothing more than Trump’s whims and fantasies fueled by Fox News hosts and other far, far right entities and individuals.

It would be good for the nation to ultimately see some real consequences for the criminal and inhumane actions and policies of the Trump regime. Our Congress could better use its time undoing the damage to our health protections, financial well-being, voting rights, food safety, energy infrastructure, education as well as our world standing instead of time spent in hearings and investigations. To be perfectly clear, however, the possible impeachments of elected officials and judges should NOT be taken off the Congressional agenda.

I feel for the people of Iran. They are good people, among the best educated in the world, As you tour America you find that most Iranians are architect, engineers, doctors, surgeons.. They are a proud people keenly aware of their thousand year history, as though it was yesterday, and they suffer two fold.

They suffer under the barrage of Trump and sanctions. Sanctions have never ever led to a regime change or revolution, but have resulted in the misery of the people, and an excuse by their regime, of blaming economic stress on the United States. The sanctions on Cuba have only reinforced the hold of the Castro regime on the people.

The Mullahcracy of Iran is corrupt, nepotic, the Mullahs live in luxury, while they terrorize the people with the Vivak, the Basij.

The Basij is a million man para military of volunteers, the taxi driver, the guy who owns a booth at the bazaar, the goat herder, the guy leading a donkey cart , your neighbor, your cousin.

It was the Basij that machine gunned 30,000 protesters in January, not the IRGC,not the Artesh (the army)

The Mulllahcracy is so afraid of the people, that it hangs young girls for disrespecting he head scarf (hijab), the VIVAK (the Mulllahcracies SAVAK), The VIVAK arbitrarily kills, arrests and tortures, like ICE does and will, anyone perceived to be an enemy of the state Right now enemies of the state are immigrants, but Trump has declared anyone who is not MAGA an enemy of the state, so our day is coming.

Now Trump wants to drop a nuclear equivalent bomb, the M.O.A.B.) on the people, their bridges and infrastructure, an undeniable war crime, and there apparently is no way to stop him, as he is immune to public or worldwide opinion, and NATO , or its members, are gutless and feckless.

I would love to see a regime change in Iran and America, such a feat appears to be increasingly hopeless in both instances.

Lee Lenard's avatar

Thank you for a better insight. Our u s government gives us a more twisted view of Iran yet those I have met in this country are educated, charming and interesting.

The regime would have us believing that all non whites are brutes and semi intelligent savages.

he word Iran comes from old Farsi Eran, which means land of the Aryans. Aryan itself means noble. The original aryans were not lily white blond haired, blue eyed, that is an evolutionary adaptation to the Northern climate.

The neolithic remains of the Cheddar Man, were DNA tested, and he had blue eyes and very brown skin.

The DNA of Tutankhamen was tested and he had DNA Y Segments that line up with Y Haplogroup R1b1, which first appeared iin the western edge of the Urals, and migrated west and south about the time of the Younger Dryas.

Fear induced bigotry, and fear is manmade, is how demogogues/tyrants achieve and hold power.

Hypothesize how long wthe 1,000 year Reich, how long Hitler would have succeeded, had he achieved the final solution, and had conquered all of Eurasia.

Without an enemy, a regime collapses of it's own contradictions and deficiencies.

The USSR fell apart because of it's inefficiencies.

China has survived because the Communist party and it's leadership, has learned from the mistakes of others, yet there exists discontent still, and the leadership is paranoid and touchy. It had to have Hong Kong, it has it now it is nervous for Hong Kong is a virus that threatens the party.

They claim that they want Taiwan, but really don't, they know that Taiwan is a virus more dangerous to party rule than Hong Kong.

Are the college students back? Are college students beginning to march instead of partying and playing computer games?

Students of NC A T & T marched an hour TO VOTE after republicans closed their early voting polling places!

NC ATT students may have shown and started a power college uprising against the repressive dictatorial regime. College students decades ago changed the political scene, stopped wars, uplifted mankind and ushered in benefits for all the nation.

Then they went silent and the country evolved into the dictatorship we have today.

HAVE we found NEW LEADERS at N C AT&T?
